Law would’ve been a good parallel to ace if he was done right
A boy told that his existence alone is wrong and should be eliminated, they both turned inwards expressing evil hatred as wains but truely was just really in pain.
But the difference is Garp never reassured ace that his existence was worth it instead leading him to find his purpose depressingly in his life. However, corazon did that for law so he would’ve been interesting to see how ace would’ve been without his complex. Especially bec he comes right after ace dies in the story.
Instead adult law doesn’t seem to live by what corazon instilled in him and instead bullies and belittles those around him while also having a superiority complex. I like the concept and potential of laws character and love his backstory but I don’t like characters who are just jerks to others despite after they become friends, people just don’t care a lot bec he’s sexy.
