Acanthus (1879-1881) by William Morris.

The William Morris acanthus pattern key block, just for fun.
Now, I have a bad habit of never being honest about how long something takes me to carve: this postcard-sized block took me exactly four Lord Peter Wimsey radio dramatisations, or to use a more prosaic unit of measurement, well over eleven hours.
Fleurs d’acanthe…

When you have a shapeshifting fox wizard obsessed with all forms of life who is prone to waking up her wife at ungodly hours to infodump at her about Animal Facts, sometimes you must commission @fofoart to draw this for you.
Little Fox is mine & Lesja is @urbanprole's.
Note: the clock is Lesja's familiar spirit, a little electronica spirit named Oontz Oontz that Lesja accidentally rescued during a plot years ago.
When you marry a fox, you get shenanigans. When you marry a Little Fox, those shenanigans always include the latest animal facts.
Wanting to ask this all the time but have you been to any national park from your country? If so...which were the ones you liked the most? I am trying to make some small ideas in my head about Greek naturals sites and wanting to know. Also if it is not much a bother, I was pondering if there is like a national flower or, in its defect, a plant tied to the country that is not the olive tree. Thanks so much :D
Absolutely! We have over 10 national parks all over Greece actually and some of them are protected because of their natural beauty and some rare plant and animal species. That includes also several fresh-water preserved locations, river deltas, wildlife sanctuaries, natural monuments and woodland parks. You can see a map here:
The seventeen Greek National Parks with location on Google maps
The first ever created was of course the national park of Olympus in 1938. In 1981 this place was declared by UNESCO a Biosphere Reserve
If you scroll down this page you will find some links the first is on the land national parks, the second on fresh water ones and the last on sea ones

Honestly dunno I love them all! I guess the one that has the most impact for many reasons is Olympus because like come on! You can feel the energy in the atmosphere in those mountains!
Certainly! Of course the classical plants such as Olive Tree and Grape Vine are the most characteristic, I believe the most frequently appearing plant as the national flower plant of Greece is Acanthus
According to the legend/story this is the plant that the Greek sculptor Callimachus, saw growing through a basket and he got inspired the Corinthian capital style
"A rose that bloomed, an egg that cracked."

Inspired by this:
My friend suggested roses as Acanthus has rose motifs (rose thorns as his ability)!
