ANOTHER CHIYAKA LIKER???? i have been obsessed w them since the mystic onmyou chamber event omg .

i rarely use tumblr so its a miracle i even saw this ask but ... ask and u shall receive!

here's a (hopefully comprehensive) rant about how i view chiyaka!

I ADORE chiyaka's dynamic sm. I love the idea of two powerfully titled people just. losing their status whenever they're together. as if they're just normal people, absolutely lovestruck by one another... When they're together, ayaka isn't the shirasagi himegimi of the kamisato clan, childe isn't the eleventh harbinger tartaglia, they're just. two kids in love.

The idea that love is supposed to be a freeing place where you can just. exist. happily.

The people of Inazuma happily gossip about the young harbinger and ms Kamisato, it's a nice distraction from the previous turmoil of the vision hunt decree and the war between the shogunate and watatsumi.

The two often fall under scrutiny from the public, and the stares Childe receives on his afternoon strolls to komore teahouse don't go unnoticed. He can feel their eyes burning into the back of his head, he can hear their whispers,

but he doesn't care. Neither of them do. they're so unapologetically in love in fact, they rather the Raiden Shogun herself strike them down with the Musou no Hitotachi than renounce their relationship.

The majority of this rarepair relies on fanon, unfortunately, since i dont believe they've had a single canon interaction 😭

but its fine since im deranged, heres a list of my Chiyaka Headcanons!

- Ayaka is pan and uses she/they!

- similarly, Childe is bi & is cis but doesn't care what prns you use for him!

- chiyaka and thomato go on double dates to all the restaurants around town :3

- ayato is ALWAYS picking on ayaka for falling for a fatuus, but deep down he admires her bravery for sticking by his side.

- ayato and childe dont always get along but when they do they typically end up sparring or dining together.

- childe LOVES to cook for ayaka, like. adores it. thoma is constantly complaining about him being in the kitchen when he comes to visit

- chiyaka spar often, childe used to go easy on her, but after learning of ayaka's true strength, they've had countless matches end in a draw.

- the one time ayaka has seen childe in his foul legacy form, she wasn't scared. in fact, i think she fell for him even harder.
