In this au the abstractions are *very much* closer to animal then human. This is because they are simply the remains of the feelings the person felt in life.

They have no memories of why they feel these emotions; all they know is that they feel them.

That's part of why the abstractions are so violent at first, they have a bunch of intense emotions and no reason behind it. they were nothing, and now they exist, and it *hurts*.

After a while the fear starts to subside, and with some help from people who care, their true colors show.

Jax kept a lot of his more rabbit-oid features, as well as a lot of his 'mask' personality and humor.

He's tricky, he causes trouble, he runs rampant like he owns the circus.

He makes messes on purpose, he chews on rag's hair, he lingers around pom.

He's pushed into gangles room a few times and stolen her artwork, although he has yet to destory any of it (she always get's it back).

To him life's just a game.

He also sleeps a lot, the lazy bugger. I mean, he's an abstraction, it's not like there's much else to do.

Jax has also taken a certain interest to bows; an interest that he feels sorta' embarrassed of, although he's not sure why.

Pom's tried to ask him about pronouns or gender, but as an abstraction he either could care less or doesn't have the capacity to think that hard in the first person.

prolly' the latter.

he's dumb as rocks most of the time.

(Internal/mind-file Jax is very much a different story. she's happy too trust.)

The crew didn't have the heart to take down Jax's pillow fort for the brief time the abstractions were in the fishtank (which pom advocated to let them out of, but that's a story for another post) and thank god for that bc it's become Jax's absolute favorite place to be.

nine times out of ten if you're looking for him, he'll be there.

All in all, he's much happier than he was in life....but it doesn't stay that way for long.
