It does not surprise me that N and Uzi would be working on their secret handshake while V is dealing with Cyn/Solver. XD XD XD They're so silly and clearly have other priorities. ;)
Yoo
you're saying this.. to the girl who dug up corpses

strap in, it's time to talk about cyn (hey that rhymed :D, also of course, solver)
Alright, I am now gonna dive into my thoughts on cyn and solver by proxy and such.
so my first one up and the one that I personally enjoy and believe as true
is that cyn and solver are not the same throughout the entire show, I primarily believe in this one being canon due to what happened and such due to how my brain analyzed the scenes that we did get with cyn, personally think it adds a lot to it, because the way I view it, the solver failed ALL it's deals still in this case, it discarded the part of tessa that made her tessa, her mind seemingly is gone, or if it is somehow still in there, it is done in such a horrid way that both cyn and her are in the same predicament. being nothing more then toys left up on the shelf, to collect dust, sure the solver "technically" still has them but at the end of the day, it is nothing more then ways to use them as disguises and nothing more, relegated to the same fate as a lost toy in a old attic, ignored for the most part until looked at like a old memory. Which can be it’s own thing outright when writing them, I like to think the reason that solver kept propping up cyn’s head or had the posture it had was not only cus it was inexperienced in moving in a body like that, but also damaged servos were working against it, and who knows how much, despite being a very broken drone, how hard she herself was trying to stop it.
It can really hit home the pain of just how much the solver messed up things, it ruined a family of drones and a human, it ruined the image of cyn forever, and she will have to claw it back, piece by piece, giggle by giggle, monotone screams, sleepless nights not only in a form she doesn’t recognize, but sharing it with the new host of the powers of the solver itself, to have to not only prove to people you knew in the past that its you, but also the person who never truly got to know you in the first place, only a fake version of you, a mask, a falsehood. Even if you get through all of that, there would be the task, if allowed, to separate into a mew body.
And if she does get that new body, how would she feel, how many nights would she cry herself to sleep to nightmares of actions she never did but were forced to witness, it would haunt her. The only people that could comfort her and be willing to during this time would literally be N and WD tessa, because no one else would try until she proved herself to truly be herself, proved something that would be so so so hard.
Now let’s go to the next one. Cyn never existed/only existed for a few seconds after reactivation before absolute solver took over. The horror here to me is that it seemingly tried to understand emotions during the manor era, potentially not only to understand and manipulate, but to genuinely understand them, it was an eldritch creature learning how the world of earth worked, how this universe worked, for N this creates a forever hole in his core that will never leave, that he never really had a sister, that it was always solver, a wolf not in sheeps clothing, but outright camo, only noticed once it was already too close for it to matter if you noticed.
It also twists the knife to the way it viewed tessa, the way it paraded its corpse around, the way it “didn’t discard her”, even if it still has tessa in it’s eldritch code somehow, it wore her skin like a trophy, it discarded her being, it discarded her original intended existence in life, what it showed as “not discarding her” is motivated by manipulation and other unseen motives that will never be understood by a normal being, drone or human, ever.
And how this affects uzi, even if she is in full control, the solver will never leave, its her tail, it will talk, it will be the evil voice in the back of her head, it will interrupt moments of any kind at any chance it will get. It is the absolute, and that includes being an absolute annoyance.
But then there is the horror for the solver. The eldritch being is trapped, it lashes out in its own way of course, but it’s tied itself to her thanks to uzi swallowing the core, she will be the new host, the new absolute solvers main body, but also, things may bleed over, mannerisms, way of talking, the style of the bows may change over time, and potentially. Emotions.
It will feel feelings it never knew, things it knows should not be able to feel, it knows it should not be feeling those feelings. And yet. All those emotions finally culminate in another lovely thing, nightmares.
Thirdly, let’s talk about another one, another train of thought. Absolute solvers and cyn? You can’t figure out where one begins and the other ends anymore. To separate them at this point would be killing both, time has passed that both beings have harmonized and sung similar tunes for so long, that now they are but one voice, one singular entity. A swirling of emotions of this factor because what does that mean for those that have been apart of the solver, are they still apart of it? Are they apart of the culmination? Will they ever truly know death?
Will uzi just be the main dominant personality now going forward for all of this madness that is unfolding? Is solver trying to stick around in the tail so it is not absorbed into its own personalities in the back of their own mind, a escape to get away, because each time it slinks back, it must face the chorus of all previous hosts and users, who pull and drag it in, desperately clawing to let uzi become the true new host of the eldritch power, to become the absolute solver itself. The horror of trapped in your own mind, a labyrinth of their own creation.
How much is the annoyance or suggesting bows more so a tactic so that it will never be forgotten. Because one day uzi will wake up, and there will be no more yellow gradient in her eyes, and no more yellow in her tail. For she is now the solver, and the original will fade with all the other voices, becoming nothing more than random thoughts in her head…and once more alone in her own body. Both a comfort and a burden. For now all she hears is those old thoughts in her own head again, despite all the new changes. Despite all the good she has done, despite saving the world and getting a partner (or partners) who genuinely care about her. Despite everything, it’s still her. She is still just uzi
Then there is the fourth one technically. Not only are cyn and solver seperate, but by fusing itself to code, it had to play by tech rules, its powers are also seperate from itself as it was put into a folder, which is what allowed for the solver strains to come into existence which may have, when initially introduced, freaked out the absolute solver and cyn out. Cyn for the obvious reasons and memories. But solver? Why would it be scared?
Let’s look at the power of reverse engineering stuff, because they managed to make a strain of it for testing, imagine if jcjennson was even more competent, they could effectively pirate the powers of something that was beyond understanding, forcing it to be understandable, the unknown becoming known. The ants that learn of the motherboard they walk upon and understanding its purpose, but then figuring out how to use it for their own gain, understanding something never meant for their minds to understand in the first place.
The fear was not only was there potential for these ants to understand it, but now, there was potential in those unn’s, passing down powers that should have been indescribable, now a part of the common being. For the solver the horror was that its existence would become mundane, a normalcy, and a fear that eventually. Its callback pings would no longer work. That its powers could be resisted and ignored. And uzi confirmed that fear, it reacted with disgust and confusion, it shouldn’t have taken that fast for uzi to be able to do that, it shouldn’t have been able, that in less than a single generation of being passed down, there was already resistance and fighting back.
Cyn and solver. Always linked.
Yet the results of one small difference in the angle means it is always fascinating.
"Love is painful"
Huh…
Yeah… I don’t think I actually want to know what kind of freaky shit the Solver/Cyn did to make that work
Also interesting that “Tessa” seemed fairly coordinated in episodes 6 & 7, like with the flips and swordsmanship stuff, but once it’s revealed to actually be the Solver/Cyn the gait is kinda staggering. So either the Solver did creepy flesh stuff under the spacesuit that it could control with better coordination… or it’s just being dramatic™️ and zombie shuffled on purpose. Honestly I wouldn’t put it past that last one lol.
Also, it apparently was wearing Tessa’s high heels underneath those boots too 💀
