i honestly don’t get why the fandom constantly wants dream to be some soft boy who never stands up for himself. like, guys. he’s literally in the position he’s in because he refused to let his brother do terrible things unopposed.
seriously, dream is one of the least likely characters to ever be a doormat. it takes a lot of willpower to fight your own brother to the death, you know.
dream being a kind person doesn’t mean he won’t clock you for being rude. it means he’ll try to talk things out before ultimately deciding that you won’t listen and that you need a good punch to the schnoz.

i have so many thoughts about mean gills it’s insane i’m insane they’re insane and they’re MY LIFE.
also what’s with past life being like a limited life sequel hello? clocker family and mean gills return with swapped widows (scott & cleo)? Martyn winning both? time-ish names? I feel ill about these seasons
he came on set; shot a few scenes and owned the whole damn movie😌
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAYYYYYY

So this has been haunting me since @peetarizzlark showed it to me, and I have to talk about it.
These are some comments under a YouTube video of the disarming scene in "Ghost Protocol:"
Look at that. Holy butt, if that doesn't say so much about William Brandt.
Here is a man who was broken by a mistake he fully blames himself for, dragged along on a mission he wants no part of, not trusted even by the man whose life he saved... and he is not going to shoot anyone.
No one else in the room knew until that moment, but Brandt is fully capable of killing every one of them, even Ethan, whom he can physically match. And given the way he's been treated, it would make perfect sense for him to at least put his finger on the trigger, ready to take the offensive. But he doesn't. In spite of this probably being one of his worst days ever (which is saying a lot), Brandt would rather stand down than hurt anyone. Even Ethan. Especially Ethan. Because he's so certain he personally ruined Ethan's life that he is determined not to hurt this man again, even at the cost of his own safety.
For all that Ethan is supposed to be forgiving and trusting and caring, he kept his finger on the trigger. Jane kept her finger on the trigger.
William Brandt really said "my life is in your hands --just like yours was literally in mine not long ago-- and I am not going to take the chance of accidentally shooting you even if you're willing to kill me."
Tell me again that this man isn't one of the most interesting characters in the entire series, with so much subtle, simmering intensity and depth. His relationships to the others is deeply nuanced and fascinating, and I think that it doesn't get more attention in the series and the fandom is a loss.
Again I did not choose the William Brandt life, the William Brandt life chose me, and it's realizing little things like even years later that makes it worth it.
Daki isn't always right about certain things, but he is an ABSOLUTE KING in that last episode
He not only pushed an Inquisitor off of a cliff (hilarious, by the way), but he held his ground for as long as he could against DARTH VADER HIMSELF, and managed to land a few hits on him. He managed to go out fighting
R.I.P. Jedi Grandpa, we will never forget you 😔
"...just one. How do I stop The Unknowing?"
"...aaah I don't know"
"WHAT?!"
I fucking love gerry Keay
