Woo first Absolute CU character sheet yay!

So one of the BIG differences in the Absolute AU is that instead of George and Harold being the main characters, it's Melvin. Don't worry the boys are still major characters in the story but they aren't like the main guys anymore. Also on small change is that the story takes place in the late 2000s - early 2010s as opposed to the books late 90s - early 2000s time span or the show's presumably late 2010s time span.

For this version of Melvin i really want to lean more into the fact that his parents seem kinda neglectful towards him being more focused on their work so in this version his parents are barely around so he basically has to raise himself. Really doesn't help that he's a main target of bullying and has no real friends outside of the robots he invents (well until captain shows up that is)

Ok here's just so miscellaneous facts about him:

• while he mostly reads science textbooks he does sometimes read sci-fi comics and even a few superhero comics, he mostly just reads them to get inspiration for his inventions. He usually walks home from school and stops by the local comic shop every once in a while on his route home.

• he has his own version of the hypno ring... sort of. It's actually call the Signal-Ring 2000 in this AU and it's function is to send out a signal to Captain Underpants to alert him of danger and villiany afoot.

• he has undiagnosed autism and would probably get a proper diagnosis if his parents actually cared enough to get him tested. He has a hard time understanding social cues especially with people his age.
