Last nights of summer fading & hopefully so will the last of all my feelings for you.
sometimes toxicity
feels like love
when that’s all you’re used to
(these-words-i-speak)
What's something hot, something cute, and something annoying (that you love) that your partner does?
Ooooh I like this
Hot: when she grabs my throat or neck and is like very much in charge
Cute: when she grabs my face and starts slowly more aggressively calling me cute. It's like ''you're so cute.. So CUTE, HOW ARE YOU THIS CUTE, WHY HUH????
Annoying: she can talk about a million things at once because when she tells something her mind works like a tree, the branches I mean, there's a main line and it spreads in different branches, and more branches until she comes back to the main part or basically has forgotten what the main thing was and I'm there like
But at the same time it's so cute, my brain just gets lost 😂
Whumpmas in July Day 1
❤️ Name: Sasha (or S for short or Sashenka if you’re trying to be cute)
💛 Gender: Non-binary
💙 Favorite season: Summer (because it’s warm and my birthday is in July)
❤️ Average amount of sleep: Like 10 hours now I’m stuck at home with no uni 💛 Dream job: Working in a bookshop or being a phlebotomist (or like, something biology related I guess since that’s my degree but that’s not the dream y’know) 💙 Blog established: March 2019 (I can’t believe it’s been over a year wow) ❤️ Reason for URL: It’s based on the TV Tropes page ‘to the pain’, which is itself named for the famous Princess Bride quote. It also sums up what I’m here for pretty well 💛 Fave Whump Tropes: Torture, espionage whump, captivity, whipping, knives, finger breaking and fingernail torture, beatings, defiant whumpees, intimate whumpers, questionable pain feelings... anything fun and violent really 💙 Projects you’re working on: I’ve got a whole list of writing that I’ve got planned but I’m also doing a couple RPs ❤️ Favorite color: Green, blue and anything in between 💛 Anything else you’d like to add: I’m so glad that I worked up the courage to make this blog, because I really love interacting with the whump community and being able to share and comment all the wonderful content on here. And I love interacting with all you guys, so feel free to send me an ask or a message!

My bf rlly loves my thighs/legs and kinda adores them and so because of that I became proud of my legs instead of ashamed!!
Monthly Recap - May
Read
Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl. A friend recommended this one and I like it, but didn't love it. Compulsively readable, apparently vibe-wise quite similar to The Secret History (which I haven't read yet).
Watched
Ballet to Broadway at the Royal Opera House. Mixed bag, but overall good and I'll never complain about a night at the ROH.
Old movie: Sylvia Scarlett. A silly romcom starring Lauren Bacall and Cary Grant. Various annoying accents aside, this was quite cute, gender bendy fun ft an unexpected musical number and some great dancing from Cary.
Etoile. I LOVED this. Is it the strongest outing from Sherman-Palladino? Not yet, but we're only in season one, and I loved enough about it to heartily recommend. The dancing is genuinely really good and there's proper, contemporary ballet which is very fun to see. I really loved Cheyenne, which I was not expecting, and just really hope we get a season 2.
Star Trek Discovery. I really didn't love this when it first aired (and only made it about halfway through the second season) but I've been rewatching from the start and you know what, it's growing on me. I've got about a season left and it's very earnest and can be a little much but still, I'm having fun.
Did
Went to Walk The House at the Tate Modern. I was worried this would be Instagram bait but actually it was excellent, so so good. Strongly recommend, it's only £10 with a national art pass.
Went to the Handel and Hendrix House - I don't really care about either of them but the concept of the museum (Handel lived and composed in a house, 250 years later Hendrix lived in a flat next door) was really interesting (and it's free with a national art pass). Overall really impressed, the volunteers in particular were excellent and abundant and brought the place to life. Not a must see by any means but a fun jaunt!
Went to another dating event and met the IB boy. Despite that, cannot recommend this brand of event (the 'proprietary algorithm' put all the finance people at one table despite the detailed questionnaire we filled out 🙄).
Also handled some job search stuff.
Goals and monthly poll under the cut.
