Okay, seriously, let's talk about voices in anime. You know how some voices are just good? And then there's Junichi Suwabe. His voice is just on another level.
I've watched like a hundred different anime and it doesn't even matter which character he's playing. The second I hear that tone, I'm like, "Aha! Suwabe-san!" His voice is just too majestic to miss.
And my current obsession? Ryomen Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen. I'm telling you, his Japanese voice is the reason I rewind scenes.
It's deep, sure, but it's not that rough, "growling" deep. It's deep in an insanely dominating, elegant way that literally sends shivers down my body every single time. And the way he delivers his lines? Slow, totally sarcastic and mocking but still being so graceful— UGH I just wanna crush hard!
His "motto, mottoda" (while fighting with Megumi) and "gambare gambare" (while fighting with Jogo) are the words I cannot ever get out of my brain.
Not only that, my king of curses shares a VA with Shoei Barou from Blue Lock! And we all know that his "Barou Barou Kyun~" is just legendary.
I can also recognise Kōki Uchiyama's voice (Rin's Japanese VA) and I love his voice too. But Suwabe San's voice is perfect, dominating, velvety deep but-not-too-deep and just on another level so I'm absolutely obsessed with it.

currently getting the run around from my insurance company trying to get my surgery (IN THREE DAYS) approved. every step of the way has been so excruciatingly difficult and i keep being met with barriers. experiences like these really highlight the whole trans healthcare system is totally dependent on the healthcare/insurance worker deciding whether or not they want to help you because you are trans.
if they have the slightest issue with your existence they can just put up arbitrary barriers and gatekeep you from NECESSARY care. oops someone "forgot" to fax your paperwork. oops we can't do anything ma'am our hands our tied. oops sorry we can't tell you what's wrong with your paperwork. oops that needs to go to an appeal now, which will be decided after your scheduled surgery, looks like you should cancel.
