Okay now onto the kids!

Calliope

-Raised gender neutral [Its not like the other Bad Kid’s forced any gender roles on their kids, just Ayda and Fig made it a point to they/them Calliope until they were old enough to decide on their own. Which they decided they wanted to stick with they/them pronouns]

-Really peppy and fun to be around. They love to party and hang out, and will frequently drag people around to go places and do things. They’re the designated fun day planner.

-Hair is essentially lava. They have two twisted braids that rest infront of their ears (which are small wings btw) and the rest is put into two curly buns that are lower down on the head. [When they’re embarrassed the ears shift and cover their eyes, just wanted to add that in]

-The poll has decided (at the very least) that they will be a harpy. T the plan is to make them a Phoenix and use the Bearded Vulture as inspiration for the design. My friend decided that they will be a harpy like Ayda, so no horns and separate wings/arms.

-They wear noise cancelling headphones pretty much all the time + know sign language and it’s a primary way that they communicate because they’re selectively mute. As eldest sibling they made sure to teach every sibling to follow sign language as well.

-They love puzzles and often wander around with those very intricate handheld puzzles and working on them. They also really love escape rooms.

-Their favorite outfit is a very long skirt (covering talons kind of long), a baggy t-shirt, hair clips, and the headphones. Nearly everything is a hand-me-down because Fig is alt and raised them well. [Skirt was Gorgug’s but modified at the waist and trimmed slightly, T-Shirts were Fig’s, Fig made the hair clips and gloves and sewed some patches into their sweater]

-Their skin is surprisingly a deeper maroon color, but it takes a very specific lighting to draw it out. Their moles look like flame specks.

-They really enjoy running, despite their seemingly introverted appearance. They actually end up joining a track team in high school! As a kid, they would get the zoomies a ton and Fig would solve it by running around the house with them trailing behind until they were exhausted and ready for bed.

Jordan

[Funny little tidbit, I picked the name after Jordan from The Great Gatsby]

-The definition of ‘Tomboy to Butch’ pipeline (takes after her parents)

-Very cocky personality. She’s always been sassy and defiant and the rest of the Bad Kids entirely blamed it on Kristen and Tracker. However, she’s a major mediator between all the rest of the kids and much prefers to be a pacifist.

-She is really into astronomy and spends a lot of time with Ayda learning all about it because she finds it really interesting.

-Journals for fun (especially about astronomy) and she writes in very neat cursive

-Has Kristen’s ginger hair, Tracker’s unibrow (couldn’t not, I love it), Kristen’s freckles, Tracker’s darker skin, Kristen’s heterochromia, and Tracker’s lycanthropy.

-Her favorite outfit is a black halter shirt, ripped jeans with fishnets in the rips and black combat boots

-She gets a mullet mohawk at some point (did it in the middle of the night with Cass’ help) and both Tracker and Kristen were absolutely stunned at it. Fig had to fix both her and Cass’ hair (Cass dyed her bangs red and it was not applied well by Jordan)

-Jordan goes to school with really fun makeup on (like a white star outline over her eye and some smaller outline stars across her arms, those are her go-to’s). She also wears diy earrings (like she made some out of soda tabs and interchanges which dangle she hooks onto them. Usually it’s a little chain and then an * symbol, playing off of the stories she’s heard of Kristen and their association with the ? symbol.)

-Surprisingly, Jordan is in orchestra and plays the bass. She is also a part of a few different clubs in school (she really enjoys the title of VP for some reason. The Bad Kids tease her using the nickname a lot)

-She got Lycanthropy from Tracker as well, but plans out when it’s gonna happen and finds a spot to just make a den and relax. Because the Lycantrhopy was genetically passed down and not infected to her, she can actually control the anger within the full moon a lot better than say Jawbone or Tracker can because the got infected. She’s still a wolf (a ginger wolf) but she’s a lot smaller in comparison to the other werewolf-O’Shaughnesseys and much prefers to just sleep it out.

Etta

-Despite being the shortest she is the first one to imitate a fight. Riz and Fabian can not keep her out of detention (or in, cause she keeps skipping it as well. But they don’t have a problem with her skipping)

-She gets the chaotic energy from Riz and Fabian’s cockiness and blends it into a vibrant personality. She’s boastful, confident, and impulsive to all get out, which surprises a lot of people because she appears very toned down when with family.

-Not a bad kid, she gets really good grades and isn’t mean, but she won’t stop talking back when teachers give her or her friends sass. In fact, she’s really just in it for the thrill of the argument and would much rather get on the defense of a student she hates just to back talk a teacher.

-A part of the theatre group! She works in the set design department and often skips to theatre whenever she is too bored to attend detention. She takes her job super seriously and spends a lot of time dragging Gorgug to theatre afterschool to ensure that the infrastructure seems solid and that the mechanisms are right for any floor traps and whatnot.

-She actually makes a ton of friends and is extremely blunt when she wants to befriend anyone.

-She talks in a very vague manner most of the time. Like ‘are you that one kid that threw that annoying girl out the window? You know, the one with the angular teeth and the weird thingy on her arm and she’s a bit taller than the lockers? Her name is a bit feminine too’

-Really tries to come off as a tomboy for a while cause she thinks it is what she should look like as a frequent detention-visitor. However, she eventually gets to high school and embraces being really feminine. Wearing cute dresses with converse to match the color scheme, having millions of piercings in her ears and those rings that connect to a bracelet through chains.

-Her favorite outfit is a short yellow dress, with a zip up, sunflower converse, gold jewelry, black sunglasses + black nail polish and black leggings

-Often wears her hair up in dreads with beads at the ends tied up into a short ponytail. [Fabian does her and Uma’s hair as often as possible because Hallariel never did his and he wishes she had. He also works with Ayda to teach her how to work with Calliope’s hair, because he can’t touch it with how hot it is]

-Makes a lot of hand crafts and gives them out as gifts a lot. Currently she’s stuck on origami, soon it’ll be something like glassblowing or pottery.

-Jawbone has been helping her with her incessant need for adrenaline (which in turn causes fights) and got her into writing a diary. Often before bed she’ll spend 20 minutes writing out any angry actions or words she suppressed that day and add a bunch of cute stickers and glitter pen work around it.

-Her skin is a warmer green than Riz’, she has mixed colored hair (think calico, but it’s white naturally from Fabian, lighter green dreads from the mix, and dark green dreads from Riz), she has Fabian’s gray eyes (which actually mixed with Riz’ goblin genetics and gave her gray sclera instead of yellow). She is a goblin so most of her features are from Riz.

-Got Fabian’s bad on-the-spot charm and Riz’ bad social skills. She is so uncharming it wraps back around to being endearing.

-Also I already like to think that she finds goody-two-shoes really cute but doesn’t know how to talk with them. At some point she’s messing around in detention (she’s making like 40 paper swans to put all over the teachers stuff) and some ‘good’ kid is crying in the corner cause they didn’t mean to get detention and she’s just.. so bad at helping. She’s blunt, she doesn’t really think of detention as a big deal (keeps wiping her name from the detention list and files because she is Riz’ kid) and it’s hard not to just watch them pout and then light up when she offers to clear their record.

Ty

-Presumed to be the calmest out of the entire group at first glance, but very impulsive. He cannot be in charge of planning anything without supervision unless you want to end up viral or on the news.

-Speaks in a very flat tone and is hard to read unless you get to know him. Often, he is being expressive but his voice makes everything seem sarcastic or neutral, especially his jokes. He actually laughs and smiles a lot around people he likes.

-A sucker for both telling and hearing jokes, especially puns and dad-jokes.

-Gets Adaine’s blood-seeking urges and Kristen’s chaos. Etta may start a fight but Ty is ending it after silently cracking his knuckles and throwing a mean left hook.

-He looks very elvish for a half elf, jokes about how he got all the elven genes and Pip got all the human genes.

-Will not verbally fight. He either throws a punch or flips someone off and leaves.

-Enjoys to roughhouse with his friends and family and is very physically affectionate. Picking up his younger siblings and carrying them on his shoulders, ruffling hair, playing footsies under the table, and so on

-Has very light blond hair that he has in a fluffy look that covers his forehead. His skin is pale but covered in freckles and his eyes are green with gray in the center (HC: Kristen’s heterochromia genetically passed down). He also needs glasses.

-Keeps his hair long enough so people can mess with his hair. He really enjoys when Cass wants to mess with his hair and braids it or styles it

-His favorite outfit is a white hoodie with a layered long gray-gradient skirt (The Bad Kids jumped gender norms in an alleyway and proudly passed down the victory to their kids) and his round frame glasses.

-Hates academic integrity and gives his siblings answers all the time. There’s nothing he wouldn’t give them, but a stranger? He’s hustling them for atleast a few bucks.

-Loves sharing and often gets bigger things so he can share. Large portions of food for everyone to try, sized up hoodies to toss at people he loves, ‘extra’ things while ordering so coincidentally he can give away the other blanket or whatever.

-Really dislikes talking to new people. Enough to go out of his way to walk away from conversations.

-Heavily enjoys leaning against people and soaking up the cool from their skin because he runs hot. Sadly, Uma and Calliope run hot as well, and Pip isn’t stable on his feet enough to lean on + too short in the wheelchair, so Ty is stuck finding friends who run cold and aren’t too short compared to him.

Pip

-Judgmental and often correct about it. He’s quick to assume something and if you don’t trust him on it it’ll be your loss

-Has light orange hair that is in a slightly grown out buzz. His skin is lighter, but a lot more tan in comparison to Ty or Adaine. His eyes are a gray blue like Adaine’s. He also needs disability aids because he has joint issues (also Kristen’s genetics, hers just weren’t as bad) and can’t stand for a long time/without assistance. Usually he has a wheelchair but every so often uses arm crutches.

-He loves gossip and spends a lot of time chatting with Uma about anything under the sun.

-Loves watching dramas and Fabian spends a lot of time recommending shows for him to watch.

-A fiend and thief. He will steal your snacks, he will put his cold hands under your shirt, he will sneak up on you to startle you. Despite not being the youngest, he loves to annoy everyone and tells randoms that test his patience about all his siblings and parents that he’ll sic on them. (He can 100% hold his own as well. It’s just funnier to watch their face drop as he casually brings up that the multi-time saviors of the world are his PARENTS and all his siblings are their kids who are more than willing to kick ass for him)

-Quick to place bets on anything under the sun that he’s confident he can get correct

-Favorite outfit is a pair of loose pajama pants and a baggy graphic tee to match the design. He also enjoys stealing his family’s clothes and wearing them, so pretty much everyone loses something at some point and it ends up in his closet.

-Frequently skips class for no reason. Still passing his classes (bare minimum amount of effort) but spends most of the time he is in class on his crystal bothering Adaine or his siblings and sending reels

-Has RSD (Rejection Sensitivity Disorder)

-Although he can hold his own, he shares Kristen’s preference for pacifism.

-He worships Cassandra. He isn’t a devout like Kristen is, mostly just giving the occasional offering or going to them to talk every so often.

-Enjoys having quieter moments with loved ones. In particular, sitting around a bonfire and telling soft stories and eating s’mores is something important to him.

-Lots of people will tease him and call him ‘Pipsqueak’. Ty has kicked a lot of ass over it.

Uma

[Another fun fact, I named her after Uma from Descendants. Only watched the first one, but her song in the second one is a favorite from my childhood.]

-Shy but extremely curious. She’s a major introvert who also loves to get the tea on anything and everything under the sun.

-Saddest looking eyes you’ve ever seen. Fabian and Gorgug learn QUICK how to navigate those tricks (Sandra Lynn and Sklonda both gave some tips because Fig and Riz were menaces as kids and used the same tactics)

-Half orc half elf? (or.. 1/4 orc, 1/4 elf, 1/2 human? Cause Gorgug is already a half orc, so that’s 1/2 human, 1/2 orc. Fabian is a half elf, so that’s 1/2 human and 1/2 elf) Fig says she’s a ‘forc’ (F-orc, ‘f’ from the elf), Kristen calls her a ‘fork’ and somehow it sticks

-She has fully embraced the nickname ‘Fork’. Fabian is the only one who calls her ‘Umami’ but pretty much everyone else calls her Fork.

-Looks wise, she looks like an orc. She’s has black hair done in long bubble braids most days, black sclera like Gorgug, pointier ears from Fabian’s elven side, leaner muscles, small tusks, and green skin (pretty much the same color as Gorgug’s) [She looks most like an orc because in my head human genetics are on the less dominant more recessive side, but elves’ are extremely recessive cause there’s pretty much no diversity between elves’ appearance. Also Orc genetics are predominantly dominant traits so they typically win out] <Talking about dominant/recessive genes makes me wanna do punnett squares for their traits>

-Plays a bunch of instruments that she made herself. Specifically enjoys playing the hand pan and spends lots of her free time sitting by a creek and just playing.

-Her favorite outfit is a very grunge based style, with a graphic tee, baggy jeans, and some combat boots. Also adds on some fishnet gloves and piercings. Around school, she often wears a baggy two-toned hoodie with the hood up

-Uma hates being hugged full body. A side hug or one of those ‘pulling head into chest’ hugs is fine, but anyone who can pin her in a hug makes her freak out. She’s claustrophobic.

-Has her own Twitch channel (it’s called Fork’s Vods) where she either just talks about her day or plays music. Sometimes both. It’s gotten to a point where she’s begun to post songs and doesn’t mind people calling her an asmrtist (her voice is pretty soft)

-Hates school and drags her feet through the day but still maintains perfect grades and ‘is a pleasure to have in class’.

-Often wanders off on her own. She’s quick to walk off if no one is watching in order to check out the wall art she spotted a few buildings down. Definitely was a leash kid, or one that needed to be sat in a stroller. Also watch her or else she will steal things, Riz taught her sleight of hand skills once and now she’s got an eye for pretty much anything small enough to pocket.

-Somehow very convincing. She can tell lies like it’s scientifically proven and statistical and can get what she wants with either a glare (non-loved ones) or a pout (puppy dog eyes on loved ones). She pulls the ‘*tells a lie*’ ‘is that true?’ ‘Yeah.’ ‘Really??’ ‘No.’ SO much. It’s pure enrichment for her.

-Constantly looks sad. Furrowed brows, slight pout, hiding into self, etc. She isn’t actually sad though, most of the time she’s just thinking about going home.

Cass

-Energetic and loves fighting, but only enjoys ‘exciting fights’ (aka: fights where there’s an actual threat). Pretty reckless and definitely needs to be watched by a cleric majority of the time.

-Covered in bruises and scrapes from childhood that scarred over and never fully healed. Depending on if Kristen or Fig healed her, her scars healed a different color or shape. Fig’s healing is more jagged and warm colored, Kristen’s healing is more rounded and cool colored. She enjoys sitting and retelling how she got each and every one of them.

-Very superstitious and has quite a few stipulations for luck during or outside of battle

-She looks exactly like Fig during puberty (as in, she’s just now developing Tiefling features). She has light brown hair and wears her hair in a braided ponytail. Has tanned skin (Kristen) covered in freckles and splotches of pink vitiligo (Fig’s skin color). Has green eyes from Kristen and surprisingly, white sclera.

-As a half-Tiefling, she has: small horn nubs (hers are rounded and would be covered by her hair if she let her bangs cover it, they’re a soft maroon color), sharp teeth, long claw like nails, vitiligo, and a bit more fire resistance than a human may.

-Worships Ankarna

-Constantly bouncing on her heels. She goes to a studio to learn a style similar to Capoeira (a martial art style that blends dancing, acrobatics, and music). She also goes to a gymnastics center and eventually works there and practices Aerial Silks for fun. She enjoys dancing with Kristen and Fabian.

-Enjoys school due to having a lot of friends. She’s pretty extroverted and quick to make friends with any kid she sees, but particularly enjoys finding ones that act tough and befriending them. A lot of her friends have rough lives but she’s the sunshine in their group. However, her adventuring party drags her from school quite a bit.

-Favorite outfit is some brown, blue, and beige patchwork pants. A cropped brown baggy halter top with no sleeves. Some black socks that expose the heel and toes with gloves that match (exposing the palm and fingertips)

-Loves messing with hair. Sat around and braided everyone’s hair as a kid and when she was old enough she began to do her own hair.

-Pretty short, and in adventuring party with a bunch taller and bulkier members so she’s often just sitting on their shoulders. Her favorite party member has a bag made out of recycled materials and has two bike pegs on the side that Cass uses to stand and watch from over their shoulders.

Madox

-Very short fuse despite being raised by the calmest out of the Bad Kids, furrowed brows and a raised lip into a sneer is a staple if you see him anywhere.

-Often trailing after Pip because Pip won’t comment on the anger, but will reel him back if need be

-Turns out he’s often just overwhelmed and Calliope helps him to do things that ease the anger, such as no ceiling lights in his room, earplugs, a chew-stim necklace (so he stops biting pens open), and wearing heavier clothes. They get him a weighted hoodie and he didn’t lash out for an entire week.

-Has short light blonde hair slicked back and fluffy. His skin is pale and he flushes easily. Because of the weird mixing of genetics between a high elf and a goblin, he’s an extremely tall goblin and a very short high elf. His eyes are a soft yellow with white sclera, he can narrow his eyes like Riz can. Wears glasses and has a short tail, with a long tuft of white hair making up the majority of its length.

-Due to a defect, he has two ears on his left side, and his hearing is distorted. Has to wear a specialized hearing aid that Gorgug helped put together in order to hear correctly. [A lot of his anger in his younger years came from just not being able to understand anything and everything being too loud.]

-This boy could not put on weight for the life of him. Lanky and a beanpole.

-His favorite outfit is a dark gray weighted hoodie overtop some exclusive Cig Fig’s merch. He also wears pajama pants (usually brightly colored), his chew stim necklace, some large headphones, a beanie, and a bag with stuff in case anyone needs something. Usually cause wearing some slides, and his favorite are his whale shark slides, cause they’re his favorite animal.

-Wears a mask when he’s feeling self conscious, occasionally wearing a beanie or something to hide his ears as well.

-Enjoys making drinks and often spends time killing off steam by making a bunch of different drinks and handing it to whoever’s closest. He picks up work at a nearby cafe at some point.

-Real easy to rage bait, which doesn’t mix well with the Applebees twins because they love doing just that. Thankfully, Ty knows when to stop.

-Has a whale shark plush and eventually gets an emotional support familiar of a whale shark too. He doesn’t like to admit how much he loves it.

-Observant, but it borderlines on paranoia.

Accents/Voices

-Ty and Pip sound the most like Adaine and have a heavy ‘proper’ elven accent

-Uma and Etta got Fabian’s ‘posh’ way of talking. Riz hates it (he doesn’t) and Gorgug is confused on how it rubbed off so much on both of them.

-Calliope’s voice cracks a lot with squawks if they speak

Random

-Etta and Jordan are pretty much polar opposites from their appearance. Think of that one picture of a girl kicking her feet and writing ‘kill, murder, die’ etc in glitter ink? That’s Etta. For Jordan, think of a diary that looks really metal covered in grunge-esque pictures but it ends up having cute cursive writing about going to club.

-Uma and Pip judge people together and often turn to the other and give that ‘did you just hear/see that?’ Look when something happens. Fabian joins in as well but tries to pretend that he’s not encouraging it.

-Calliope and Ty sit in silence together and do their own things a lot. They go to each other for peace and quiet.

-Ty and Pip have major RBF and they got it from Adaine. They can communicate through looks alone sometimes and no one else gets it

-Uma will yelp if she’s startled (which happens a lot)

-All of them do eventually have like more pronouns and identities and such but I haven’t decided yet. Suggestions are open.

-Each of them have different names for the Bad Kids so it’s easier to differentiate because technically all of them + co helped raise each of these kids so all the kids see all of them as their parents.

(There are some honorable mentions of uncles and aunts too. Ragh is definitely a close uncle and still hooks up with Fabian and/or Gorgug quite often, he just doesn’t want a kid for himself. Much rather be the cool uncle everyone loves. Aelwyn is the aunt that sneaks everyone the things they aren’t supposed to have. She’s giving them candy and letting them stay up late. She’s the type to go ‘oh how dreadful.. it’s already past 8? Guess I’ll have to stay up another hour to finish this episode..’ and ignoring the kid giggling under a blanket across the couch. However she’s more forward when they’re sneaking out, pulling the ‘hey you don’t need to sneak out around me. Put on your jacket, keep your phone charged, call me when you need me to pick you up.’ She has experience and even helps them out if they’re planning to sneak out)

[No the Bad Kids don’t restrict them from parties or anything like that. It’s just typical ‘kid wants to hang out and be a bit rebellious without parents knowing’ and Aelwyn gets that.]
