Hyde was going through his paperwork, checking on his inmates, when it started. Just a quiet, gentle twinge, at first. The raven perched on his shoulder growled, fluffing up its feathers, and he looked up, for a moment, before going back to his work. The twinge grew into a headache, though, and the bird cawed, loudly, puffed up and hissing, flapping off his shoulder to swoop up into the tree. “Bless it.” He swore, softly, getting up, following the bird to the source of his pain, which only grew as he got closer.Â
A stone lifted itself off the floor, and zipped into the back of the person quietly praying to themself, hard. “Do you fucking mind?” He growled, from a good few feet away, the bird cawing as if to back him up.
