this is a TEAPOT:

you put hot water in it, and some TEABAGS (or maybe loose tea leaves), and you let it sit for a while to brew, to let all the flavours go into the water to make TEA. then you pour it out into a TEACUP

and you drink your tiny little sip of tea and it’s fancy and shit

HOWEVER

this is a KETTLE:

this is what you use to make the water hot in the first place. you open the lid (Misha’s thumb is on the button you use to open the lid) and you fill it with cold water. you put the kettle onto its separate base (which is plugged into an electrical socket)

and you switch it on, and it COOKS YOUR WATER FOR YOU.

HOWEVER

I think Misha got his words mixed up because a) he’s American and therefore he does tea wrong - cup of water in the microwave, case in point - and b) I’m pretty sure he’s dyslexic but that’s a story for another time

and c) because THIS IS ALSO A KETTLE

it looks very much like a TEAPOT but it is A KETTLE. it’s also not electric; it sits on a stove to heat up.

if you tried to heat water up in a teapot you’d probably break the teapot. if you tried to brew tea leaves in a kettle, I’m sure it would work, but why?? why would you do that???? Misha if you’re brewing tea in your kettle I really think you need to re-evaluate your tea routine

does sitting in my pyjamas eating garlic bread count as plans?

because then yeah I absolutely have plans 😊
