You can't beg for people to evolve from sun sign popstrology and then place restrictions on people who are making an attempt to prove how complex and inclusive astrology actually is.

Why a person would want to find the correlation between an astrological placement or aspects and incest, rape, or other forms of abuse?

I don't know. You don't know either. Nor do you know that person, because chances are, they've actually experienced those things and are using astrology, like other philosophies, to find answers and explanations so that they can find closure within themselves to move on.

Astrology is used to identify patterns and explain the world that we live in, what the hell is going on, and that includes the people who live in it that are composed of different physical features, personalities/beliefs, and mental states on a continuum.

saw this on twitter and it's such an interesting topic so I brought it here;

so @faewitches on twitter (amazing account you should follow her) said that, the lack of an element is actually your strength, the thing you do best, and i think this is something really good!

let's take a chart with lack of earth as an example; if you lack earth placements this can make you a very unpredictable person, however, you are not stubborn and accept change as an adventure, in the work place you can be a little inconsistent, but your work CAN also be a reflection of your motivation and intelligence and love for the unpredictable and your own art, feeling without being embarrassed for it.

if you lack cardinal elements in your chart, this too can mean that you're more motivated in the moment not in the long run, you focus on emotions in the moment and burst of energy, you enjoy the moment, in the other hand, you might not be an ambitious person or take things more calmly than a cardinal dominant person, you have no hurry and this can make you a perfectionist too!

if you lack fire in a chart this does makes you less of a self-confident person, but you're a person that doesn't jump on things quickly, it's probably easier for you to balance several things at once like job and mental health without feeling like you're giving up one or the other, you are a more critical thinking person and you're more confident in your ideas than anything

if you lack mutable elements in your chart, yes, you might be a more serious person, but this doesn't necessarily means anything bad, mutable energy is very, well, unpredictable, this energy has a lot of existencia crisis daily, you're a more centred in reality and value more things that can be seen and logical thinking more than overreacting, you don't take things for granted and are very involved in things that can put you at the top in anything that's of your interest
