Day 1: Noticed

“Mija! Hurry up or you’ll be late for school!” Yelled a very frustrated mother. Aphmau was supposed to be in the car 15 minutes ago but she slept in a little bit. “Coming!!” Aphmau rushed through the house. Brush her teeth, grab her bookbag, put on socks, do a little bit of makeup- check, check, and check! Its been a while since she woke up this early, so she’s a little groggy.

Grabbing her car keys, she got into the car and drove furiously to school. She had Ms. Johnson for her first hour, and she gives out so many tardies. After parking, she sprinted through the parking lot and into Phoenix Drop High School. The moment she entered class, the bell rang. “I’m so lucky...” She muttered to herself and sat down in a seat in the back, next to a boy with jet black hair and blackish grey eyes. Roughed up a bit, with scars all over his face. But what startled her was the scary look he had on his face. ‘He must be a new kid.’ She thought.

“What are you looking at?” He says and Aphmau flinches.

“S-Sorry...” She looks away and takes out her Algebra || homework. She closes her eyes and sighs. ‘This is going to be a long day...’

At lunch, she sat with her best friend Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan. Kawaii~Chan freaking out about her ship of Laurence and Garroth. Katelyn who was rolling her eyes and complaining about how that was a trash ship. Aphmau was dosing off into space, staring at the new student.

“Haha, right Aphmau?” Kawaii~Chan says playfully. Snapping out of it, Aphmau fake laughs and nods.

Katelyn raises her eyebrows, “You think Laurence and Garroth would be a good couple?”

“Huh?!” Aphmau exclaims. “No! No!” She waves her hands infront of her face. “I wasn’t paying attention. But hey, whos that?” Aphmau nods her head towards the new kid.

Katelyn catches on. “Him? Oh he’s the new kid in my math. Aaron... I think. He’s kinda scary, but hes cute I guess.” Kawaii~Chan nods excitingly.

‘Hmm...’ Aphmau had always been attracted to anything mysterious. Curiosity killed the cat...but satisfaction brought it back...right?”

Stopping by her locker, she notices a yellow sticky note. “Oh god...please don’t tell me I have a detention...” Aphmau mumbled under her breath. But what she saw truly shocked her.
