You both had chatted for awhile online, it was good...great even as he seemed almost the perfect guy and people that wronged you seemed to just slip out of your life as if by coincidence. The more you met up and hung out the more the feeling of being utterly enamoured with him and his being grew, it was a relationship of course and because of that it was secret...awfully secret that even his own team didn't know but they didn't know a lot of things.

He had snapped not too long ago in work after a rough case and chased down a serial killer who got out free with no repercussions. He was angry of course, telling himself he will just 'talk' to the guy but somehow that had ended up in him being covered head to toe in a sticky situation of blood and gore, standing there in the mess of it all he couldn't find it anywhere inside himself to feel regret and remorse for what he had done. No, he felt alive.

He hadn't told anyone of course, he couldn't risk losing his job just because nobody can understand what he did was right...perfect even as he knew deep down it was what he was meant to do, what he was born to do and so he continued on with his routine of killing, pinning the blame on other murderers to get others put away and manipulating everyone around him that his newfound strength and energy was from a new workout and not him lifting bodies every other day of the week.

Would he tell you? No...maybe someday but not now, not as he can recall how you often smile at him like he hung the moon for christs sake. He kept it hidden from you but you could tell something was up, especially when his jaw clenched and his fingers twitched as if itching to get ahold of something sharp whenever you complained about some random person who you clearly disliked so by default he disliked them too, loathed even.

The way you found out wasn't the best as you had came by his house for some 'off the record tips' for an assignment you had, noting the door wasn't locked fully you entered with wariness etched into every step as you heard a squelch sound from the livingroom and a gurgle shortly after which set alarm bells off instantly, you knew some unsubs held grudges on being caught so this was worrying to say the least, pepper spray in hand courtesy of Aaron (how safe) you approached the doorway before freezing. Aaron's sweat soaked shirt clung to his chest like a second skin as he was above a person, no, the person you were complaining about the previous night as Aaron's hand was grasping a knife plunged into the persons chest.

A wild look in his eye is what caught your gaze, your lips parted and your heartbeat thumping like a rabbit on the run from the hunter. A gasp from you is what got his attention, eyes softening on impulse before he got up inhumanely fast as if his speed alone could make you stay which it did but only because your reflexes faced with the man you love were dulled to an extreme extent even now as he grasped your upper arms staining your clothes with blood of the man he'd just murdered as he tried to coax an answer out of you just to make you say something, anything instead of staring at the body with wide eyes and an almost hyperventilating breath.

After that he had to explain everything to you, whilst you were still in shock of course because he knew that if he even let you calm down a bit you would scream and leave and he obviously couldn't let that happen. Manipulating the one you love was far easier than he intended it to be as somehow he convinced you he needed to do it, it was impulse and he made you feel bad for him, for his weak will and uncontrollable need for justice. The cleanup was hard especially as he had to turn his back to you to do it but you just stayed sat there and suddenly he was glad you often froze in fear and wasn't a fighter like he tried to form you to be when he got scared his job may harm you.
