Shawn and Aaron Ashmore
Completely out of nowhere bc I finished rewatching the show months ago but man killjoys is so good. there were so many gay people. I'd also watched warehouse 13 as a kid so seeing aaron ashmore in another role was great, steve jinks was my favorite character in wh13 (luke macfarlane as a character who was not a serial killer who stole the identities of his victims was a weird adjustment, id only ever seen him in that episode of person of interest before that)
The Ashmores are great at crying scenes. I still love Shawn's one in the Following

If you are looking for a fun new sci-fi watch, allow me to recommend a series loads of people slept on: Killjoys.
Featuring a diverse cast (including badass WOC lead), at least two queer relationships and a never-hotter Luke Macfarlane, it clearly has a budget of about 50p but somehow manages to be an (occasionally bonkers, fun and silly) monster of the week show while also encompassing Battlestar Galactica world-building (and oppression / rebellion arc).
It's so much fun and it just landed on streaming so go seek it out!
I can't remember what episodes it is but he also went temporarily blind in season 3 and there's a great crying scene. I forgot to mention I'm talking about Aaron in Skymed x
Oh?? OH?? A good crying season you say?? Coloring me intrigued!! I watched like half of season 1 of Skymed and never made it back but god I want to cause I looooove Ashmore whump. I'll have to take a look for that crying scene!!

season 4 of Skymed is out and there's some aaron ashmore whump in episode 4. i don't really watch this show, but in the season trailer they had him on his knees at gunpoint, so naturally i had to see it and wasn't disappointed
AAHHH WHAT!!!!! THAT IS SO EXCITING!!!! I never tire of seeing an Ashmore on their knees with a gun to their head lol. All hail our patron saint!!!
I just looked it up....Holy shit I gotta watch whatever is going on here as soon as it's out
