I think I've realized now that Artegor and Norata didn't have any scenes together in the series at all, which is a bit sad considering they were on the same team before Akillian became an Ice Age.

Another headcanon.
After Aarch lost control of the Smog and collapsed. The first thing he did was to leave the Team without Artegor's knowledge.
(The reason why Aarch did this was because he felt so scared that he couldn't face Artegor after the match and told him straight to his face why he wanted to leave.)
Artegor obviously did not take this very well and due to the presence of the Smog, it only worsened his relationship with Aarch.
In his head, Aarch just abandoned him and that's why he hates him so much when inside he still loves him.
Of course, when Aartegor finally stopped being under the influence of the Smog and had to lie in bed. Aarch and he finally had time to have a real conversation and clear up their misunderstandings (or at least part of them).
