'Cause I'm no ordinary girl I'm from the deep blue underworld!!!

Youtube reminded me of this TOP TIER song, and I remembered how much I use to love the show, H2O: Just Add Water, so I thought, how about a new AU!!

In this AU, Peach Creek is a beach town, the girls hang out there all the time, An would surf, Ann also known as Double-N would study the marine life and minerals and Anny loved to soak up the sun. One day the girls take a boat to an island to hide from the Kankers, but while exploring, they slip into a hidden underground cave, with no way back up, they go deeper, hoping to find a way out.

Hours later, they find a pool of water that is under an opening to look at the stars, with no other way, they all go into the pool in hope it will exit out of the cave, but while they are in the water, the moon happens to be directly overhead, the water seems to glow and bubble, even bubble float up, not even Double-N knows what is happening. So, they quickly dive underwater and swim through the opening, and thankfully a rescue boat was actually looking for them, since it had gotten so late.

Everything seemed fine as they got home, after a bit of scolding from their parents about going to an island without letting anyone know, the girls went to bed, believing all fine. But they soon learn all is not normal, when each get in contact with water, a transformation happens. They turn into mermaids!! An turns while she goes out to surf, Double-N turns while she went to take a shower, and Anny turns when she puts her feet into her foot spa trying to relax.

The girls are shocked....well An thinks it one of the coolest things ever. After they dry off, get the legs and regular clothes back, the girls meet up and confirm it all happened to them. Now they must learn how to go through life and learn all about their new abilities without anyone finding out. Which can be pretty tricking with 3 overzealous boys often following them around.

It been so long since I have watched H2O so I can't do much more. I remember other girls also became mermaids in the show so maybe Jenny, Karen and Rachel would become one as well. I could see Karen being the Zane, bullies the girls, but when she is saved by a mysterious sea creature, aka Anny, she starts to do everything she can to uncover what or who saved her.

I will say I remember the EP where the girls get trapped in the pool by a scientist hired by Zane or something like that. I think in my AU the story would follow that with Karen hiring a scientist, but only two of the Ans get caught, maybe An and Double N, with Anny getting away. With her friends now caught Anny seeks help from the only people she knows who will help her and her friends, no questions asked, the Kankers, which would be how they find out about the mermaid secret. And back at the pool, Karen learns about Ans, that Anny was the one who saved her all along and starts to regret hiring the scientist, who now only sees the Ans as research materials and not people.

The Kankers give snacks to the girls when they see them stressed or upset

Jay gives An a milkshake he makes, any flavor

Larie gives Ann a muffin, blueberry

Tee gives Anny a slice of Strawberry shortcake

I had this idea from the episode, Mission Ed-possible and @lolzwaitwhat genderbent story of the episode. Where they gives the girls each a nickname of a food. Larie always call Ann his muffin.

When you did the design of the outfit of your comic "May I have this Ed?" (The prom episode) In the genderbend version, besides taking inspo from the cartoon original outfits, did you immediately draw the versions you put in the comic? Or do you have any concept arts of the ANS in their dance outfits?

I'm asking because last year I made something inspired by your comic, which I hope you like.

Short post to share a headcanon I've had!

So in school, we all know what it like when a teacher tells ya to pair up, it great when u have a friend. But we also know it can suck when the teacher picks the groups.

SO I had the thought, when it comes to the Ans and Kankers, teachers have to be careful with who they pair up.

Ex: They can't pair the Ans with any boys because the Kankers will get Jealous and might break into a fight.

They can't be with their certain Kankers(the ships) because the boys will spend most of time, just kissing them and the girls running away.

Or during the time Karen isn't their friend, pairing her up with any of the Ans most likely will end in a fight.

I like to think the teachers all have work together on figuring out the best pairs to not have any fights, and here is what I thought would be their outcome.

The teachers at first had Ann and Jay, but when they learn what happened on a Valentines Day, they immediately scratched that idea, in fear of what Larie would do.

So i made this art awhile ago...

I love Barbie's Princess and the Pauper...so I was thinking who would make for a great AU. None of the ANs really fixed because they are all so different from each other and couldn't really do the switch...so I had the idea of next gen...but also genderbent

The blue hair girl (the princess) is Ammelia (Double M) she is the genderbent character of @lolzwaitwhat OC, Allbert. Lolz I hope you like it!!

The purple hair girl (the pauper) is named Tam (which I'm actually embarrassed to say I forgot her full name) So this character is the genderbent character of Funnypopgirl's OC, Thomas/Tom, who is like a rival to Allbert. Now I would normally tag the creator...but a but ago Funny actually deleted her Deviant account. Which I was sad to see it go, her art was amazing and I fell in love with all her characters. Wish I had more of her art saved.

I actually made this art a bit ago, but when I saw her account was gone, I went back-and-forth deciding. If I should post this since her account was gone. Obviously as you can see in the end, I decided to post it. If Funny ever pops back up again, I will definitely edit a link on here, but for now, all I can say is that she was the creator of Tam and I just liked the character and wanted to draw her.
