Ok, it’s time to accept that Patch is also a character now. This is Keone’s little alien companion he wakes up with. He’s a pachyra, it’s like a chinchilla... but a pachyderm!

“Patch” the Pachyra is Keone’s animal companion that he wakes up with in the desert. Patch ends up playing a a surprisingly large role in the plot of the overall series I have already mapped out, so a quick doodle was in order.

Ok, I'm about 5 drawings in on him today, but my OC Keone is finally starting to look right to me. Does he look enough like he was born out of the sand on a terrifying dessert planet to you? (Also yes, the Aalembrosians are definitely loosly based on the aliens from Fantastic Planet)
