Love is friendship that has caught fire.

You don’t need another human being to make your life complete, but let’s be honest. Having your wounds kissed by someone who doesn’t see them as disasters in your soul, but cracks to put their love into, is the most calming thing in this world.

I understand. I understand why people hold hands. I’d always thought it was about possessiveness, saying ‘This is mine.’ But it’s about maintaining contact. It’s about speaking without words. It’s about I want you with me and don’t go.

I didn't fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we'd choose anyway. And I'd choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I'd find you and I'd choose you.

“You can’t love someone unless you love yourself first.” Bullshit. I have never loved myself. But you? Oh god, I loved you so much I forgot what hating myself felt like.
