OK, so the last sentence I wrote was for an exchange fic, so I can’t tell you that. So, I’ll post something from Thursday Deadlines, which is the last part of my  The Taylor Times series. I’m also totally cheating, because the last sentence doesn’t tell you anything, so I just gave you the last paragraph! =)

Also, despite the noise of the air rushing by his ears, Harry had never felt calmer in his life. Just like when he was on top of the Empire State Building, or snuggled under a blanket with Louis, Harry felt calm, like he had no responsibilities and nothing to really worry about. Of course, that feeling was only temporary, but Harry didn’t care. This felt wonderful, and Harry was so at peace he never wanted to come down. He meant what he’d said the night before. This was going to be his and Louis’ year. He was going to make sure of it.

His eyes snap open and there’s a man standing there, smoking a cigarette, looking concerned. Harry snaps to attention, all his nerve endings on fire once again, and he nods quickly. “Fine, thanks.”

The bloke probably just wants an autograph, maybe anticipated him leaving and went out the front door to catch Harry in the alley. If Harry gives him what he wants, he’ll leave him alone, that’s usually how it goes. He searches his pockets for a pen, but comes up empty.

“Holy shit,” the man says, taking a step forward. “You’re…”

“Yeah,” Harry says. “What are you looking for, an autograph or something?”

“Holy shit,” the man repeats, quieter this time. He takes another step closer and Harry knows he should get out of here before anything bad happens, but the man steps directly into the path of the streetlamp and something stops Harry in his tracks. Harry’s first observation is that he’s much younger than he’d initially thought. His second is that he recognizes that face.

“You’re Louis Tomlinson,” he blurts out.
