My and my shadow
My and myĀ shadow
One of the joys of life is cooking, and I am lucky that I can do this most nights. We have delivered a box full of ingredients and from this we get to make dishes that vary from carbonara to mu shu pork. It used to be that I would get home, turn on the gas, and have dinner ready for Mrs G when she got home.

A-Rex
Sometimes, after a really bad nightmare, he sneaks out of their room, out from under UltraVioletās arms. He goes to the roof and looks out on the stars. Violet notices of course. She waits a few minutes before following him up there. She stands a few feet away, taking him in before going over and wrapping her arms around him again and kissing him on the cheek, reminding him it was just a nightmare. They go back into the room like nothing ever happened, but she can tell, heās a little closer to her than he was before.

Getting your child to sleep
The greatest challenge any parent faces is sleep, how to get more of it and get their child to embrace it #swaddlethem
We were too smug, we thought we had cracked it, we told ourselves we would just do it again and everything would be good. After getting Feliciraptor to fit into a sleep routine we expected to be able to do it again. As we struggle to get one child to sleep we have let our watch slip.
The night is dark and full of toddlers.

Sometimes people take things for granted? Wrong. People take everything for granted, even when they promise not to. You can say itās something weāve become accustomed to do huh? Weāre people who have the power to change the world, to warp it to our ability but people do nothing but complain to us and shun us. Iām not saying they should accept us and take us in with warm arms. Iām telling you to treat others the way you want to be treated. Do I want a fan base? Hell naw. But do I want direct criticism and hatred from the people Iām trying to protect? Does anyone really?
