The A-7000. One of Null Sectors more advanced omnics, although a failure, taken from the world known sniper, Ana Amari, the A-7000 unit was made to kill. 

Time froze as the omnic looked down the barrel of her rifle, servos twitching against the trigger as she stared at her target through the scope. 

One chance. 

One shot. 

That’s all she needed. 

Fragmented thoughts returned, realisation at whom she was aiming at began to set in. 

No… This… this is not… who I am…

It took what power she had over her body to retract her weapon before doing the unthinkable. She made her way down the stairs, through the hallways of her perch before entering the battlefield. Gunfire and screams echoed the streets as she wandered through the debris, walking towards her target. 

Her sensors went off, errors appearing in her vision as she fought through the attempts to overload her systems. She had to see you, she needed to see you. There was a new objective in her system, one that went against her programming.

Your name was glitched out, a memory she wanted to protect, someone she wanted to protect.

With quiet steps, she approached you, hand reaching out to touch you and grabbing your shoulder. The sudden connection startled you, turning around and facing the A-7000 unit. 

“My- My apologies.” She stuttered, noticing the colour drain from your face. “I-I-I did not m-mean to frighten-ten you.” 

Her attempts were failing as she looked down, watching you step back. 

“W-wait.” She grabbed your arm, hand sliding down to yours as you pulled back. “I-I mean no-no harm.” Through static and stuttered speech, her vocals softened as she continued to hold onto you. “I-I have been watching y-you for a long-long time.” 

Despite wanting to flee, you stay, listening to her words. 

“I-I am proud of you-you...” Her head tilted to the side, pistons sliding against each other. “I-I have something-ing for you.” She reaches for her pocket before pulling out a small bracelet, adorned with white and purple beads. With gentle hands, she clasps it over your wrist, servos caressing your skin before she speaks again. “You h-have come so-so far... Strong and-and brave. A t-true warrior. You have so m-much fight in-inside of-of you.” She glitches, vocaliser resetting constantly as she fights back against her systems. 

The A-7000 brings a hand up to your cheek, metal thumb moving up and down as if to calm you. 

“P-please… K-Keep fighting.” 

The gunfire behind her grows louder, her head twisting to the sound.

“G-get out of h-here.” She pushes you back, pointing behind you. “G-Go!” 

Her body turns as she draws her rifle again, ready to protect you from the oncoming enemies.

“S-stay… safe…” She murmurs, turning back and watching you run. “I… I will m-miss you…” 

“I will remember you… always.”
