There is no penalty for seeking heartbreak - I wonder how many you found >:3 If I could, I would actually love to add a trophy system for hunting down all the bad endings. The only thing stopping me is how Twine stores player data.
As for Sun and Moon, I would say they have a brotherly relationship even if they are not related at all and have no concept of what siblings would be in a cultural sense. Now, this does not come from a place of disliking Sun x Moon (I generally enjoy all interpretations of the relationship) - the real issue is the plotholes it would create for the story! Having said that, you will absolutely have a chance to pursue both of them in the future; they don't have an issue with sharing.

So you posted before that for Sun and Moon the concept of us not feeling woth our hair would be a very hard concept to understand. That they would panic if they saw us cutting our hair etc. But the thing is, hair falls off on its own. Sometimes I will brush my hair and some of the strands are there. Sometimes I will just find them on my desk. It's really not hard to break them (at least for me)
So how would the boys react to that. Just seeing our "frill" chilling on their lap all of the sudden. Or in the more spicy moment, when they pet and carras our hair they just accdiently take some strands with their hand. And during aftercare cuddles they realise that a few strands are tangled in their claws. Even an innocent brush through hair could lead to some loose strands. How would they react to that? To the idea of us shedding lol?

They can loose the occasional little bitty end bit of floof on occasion, but it is pretty rare. So just one strand chilling in their lap? That's a little gross and a little creepy! But not the end of the world if you aren't acting hurt.

During or after a spicy moment? They're going to be a little freaked out for a LONG time - that's the stuff of nightmares. Up there with "kissing your partner and several teeth fall out" type nightmares. Even with reassurances they're going to be worried they messed up!
Some cultural things are so deeply ingrained it takes time and effort to smooth things back over, unfortunately.

Spoilers for Moon's rout below!
Hi! Just wanted to drop by and tell you there might be an error in Moon's path in chapter seven? I'm not sure! It might be intended, but wanted to let you know anyway, maybe you will find it helpful! So I had a good enging with Moon (achieved 2 variations of confession and followed up kiss scene with Moon), but when i went to check out the next option I chose to Cross using the yellow lowlands, and then Cross the field of springs and take the cliffside trail.
And It led to two options wtih Moon giving us air: one to push him away and the other one that is more hands on board with kissing Moon back (That we will take any excuse to do so)
I (of course with the level of simping I have for him) chose "you’ll take any excuse to kiss him back."
And after surficing that led to the scene where reader explains what a kiss is and that they panicked and fought back because they thought Moon was kissing them, which leads Moon to promise me it won't happen again.
That is the same scene that appears If i choose the other option that includes pushing him away. I don't think my other choices are the reason for it (I got a "good kissy ending" on different paths on this safe). And it seems out of place to have two different in intention choices that lead to the same outcome (Like I just said I will take any excuse to kiss this fish man, and when He is saying I was afraid because he showed me affection and promises It will never happen again, I would try to prevent it lol)
If it is intended to go this way then that's fine too! I love your work, and don't want to be mean or offend you, sweetie! Just found it odd and thought It could be a mistake worth pointing out!

Good morning! I double checked, lo and behold there was a passage naming error X-X that tracks. I've fixed it on my side, but there is a little bad news. I can't fix it on itch at this time - I've already started making progress on Day 8 in the main file and I can't patch one passage without uploading the newest version of the game.
Instead, I'm putting the actual scene below for you! I hope it helps, that's a really good catch and I appreciate it.
Wearily, he lays his head on your thighs and just relaxes for a moment. The two of you sit in a comfortable silence, recovering from that. When Moon does work up the strength to open his mouth, the first thing he does is laugh.
"That was an impressive feat if I do say so myself… I hope you would agree." He smirks a little, although you’re not quite sure what the joke is as he continues, "If it’s not enough you’ll have to pick the danger and the venue next time."
You’re really not sure what he’s talking about, but it does seem like he’s looking for a pat on the back. Instead, you gently rub his "hat" and tell him, "Yes yes, that was very impressive and heroic - I’d offer to kiss you but I think you’re probably over that by now." To your credit, you do try to hold back the blush as the thought crosses your mind that you’re not over that yet.
"K-hss me? I assume that means a reward and recognition for my skills, yes? I think I would like that." Moon, unsure of the prize but happy to receive one, seems to preen and glow just a little brighter - though he makes no attempt to move off of you.
"Wh - Moon you don’t want to kiss me, we… (your choice of swear), we were just liplocked the majority of the time down there!"
"Lip-? That is a reward? But I don’t need air like that…" To his credit, he doesn’t seem annoyed or disappointed, just confused - as if he was drowning and you threw him a bottle of water.
"Not for air, I - Kissing is normally for affection, which is what threw me for a loop when you did it for air instead."
At that, Moon stills. He rolls himself so his belly is facing up, tilting his head to look at you closer, "You weren’t fighting me or trying to bite - you were trying to give affection then?"
You may not be able to glow, but he knows a reaction when he sees one - it is hard to miss as your face darkens in embarrassment at the implications. "I - you - Ugh, I didn’t know it was for air, okay?"
His already sharp grin becomes even more predatory, locking in on the weakness he’s found. "No, you didn’t know what it was for - but you assumed it was affection and you returned that affection in kind." A beat passes, before the realization dawns on him, "You returned presumed affection before I pulled us out!" For a moment he really does look like a fish, flopping back down and staring up at you wide eyed… The next moment he springs back up, practically chest to chest with you before he moves to nuzzle into the crook of your neck.
