Last minute catch up school project blast (had to stick to a set theme mine being moon so I had excuse for blorbo drawing) (ignore the first one is marker and the rest are pencil I learned the hard way the paper could be bled through oopsies,,,,)

Working on some aau second act revamping (because it finally hit me why it wasn’t fully sitting right with me like act one was (had Two Big Events back to back as the ending rather than just One to focus on (which lead to having to kill some darlings but it’s ok)) anyway take my shapeshifter lore tweak brainstorming ,,,, (couldn’t pick which color to go with though <\3 I think I’ll settle on the brown/natural colors one though ?)

(tldr: original plan was they went from changeling (soulless plushie creature) and became mortal (gets soul/body but at cost of shapeshifting ability because you know,, flesh and blood can’t really Do That) to which they’d get a arc about dealing with that (their job as an actor kinda relies on them being a shapeshifter)

BUT this is being changed to instead be that the changelings forms can shift unconsciously over time to better suit an environment when they feel safe or fitting in it, making it more of a physical show of their arc rather than just A Thing That Happens To Them (plus it felt like too major of an event to happen to them because upon doing my notes/looking back they are much more of a side character than a main one so I thought simplifying the idea but keeping the core concept would fit well :)) (there might be a slighttttt bias going on because I’m reusing an ocified aau lore thing here but shhhh if it works it works )

(also also idea that they get the wolpertinger features due to being in DBS so they get wings/bird traits from that hehe :3💖)

This is old art that I forgot to post but like a year ago I was talking with @gracebeth3604 about a!au and she dropped on me that Vanessa’s last name is Morrigan and a vision gripped me because my Irish mythology hyperfixation awoke. I’ll let you figure out this piece for yourself
