Fist off, I tend to not be a very vocally political person @Tumblr, but you pushed my buttons with this one...
Ā 1) So where are we with without law enforcement @Tumblr / @action? Should he be anti-law enforcement? Are youĀ anti-law enforcement?Ā Is Biden anti-law enforcement?Ā I am pro-law enforcement, so does that make me a bad person? You do know that not all law enforcement personnel are pure evil, right? I happen know some people in law enforcement that are actually good people that just want to protect their town/state from those that would do harm. Iām even related to one (federal law enforcement). We can agree on the fact that there are some that are bad, but that is a limited number, and they should not be allowed to be police officers. Plus they should be prosecutedĀ for doing things that they shouldnāt be doing. These specific officers should not take away from the good that the majority are doing on a day in day out basis.Ā
2) You are confusing protesting with rioting / looting.Ā @Tunmblr / @actionā No one has the right to destroy or steal someone elseās property because they are mad about something. I would like to know your thoughts onĀ āprotestersā if they were to destroy a Tumblr server facility during theirĀ āprotestingā. How would your employeesĀ feel if they were to destroy employeeĀ vehicles in your parking lots? You would most likely turn to those very same police offices to stop the destruction... I donāt have issues with well organized, peaceful protest that donāt cause disruption of essentialĀ services (Think ambulances, police, fire). GandhiĀ helped lead the successful campaign for India's independence from British rule that way. It was a world wide colonial power that was forced to comply because people got together in a nonviolent manner and spoke out for what they believed in. That is power. Vandalism, arson, theft, physical violence is more like an undisciplinedĀ child lashing out.Ā I canāt support that.Ā
