DIY Flower Jars For Springtime!!
I don’t know about you but I love Springtime!! Its my favorite time of the year. Because its not to cold or to hot, its perfect. Thanks to Crowdtap reminding me that it is Springtime & I should share with my Friends & Followers my favorite DIY project for Springtime. So today I am going to explain how to make Flower Jars using basic things around the house. If you have baby food jars, or old pickle jars any type of jar will work.
Items you will need.. Old Jars, Glitter, Paint, Construction Paper, (Or if you don’t have construction paper you can use plain printer paper, & just paint the paper with markers or paint your choice). & Glue Sticks!
Now were going to take the construction paper and draw flowers, if your not good at drawing then you can print some, or you can do just basic flowers like a sunflower. Once you do that cut your flowers out and paste them inside the jar, once that is done, take the glue sticks and rub the glue all over the inside of the jar then take your glitter and sprinkle it all over in the inside while turning the jar so the glitter lays evenly on the glue and not all in one place. Once your finished let it dry. Now cut a piece of paper the size of the opening in the jar. & color it or just cut a piece of construction paper. But only do this if your lid has a opening. Then take your paint, i’ve use nail polish once, & paint the metal lid that you took off your jar. I usually paint mine yellow, because for some reason yellow makes it feel more like springtime. Once the lid is dry, Place it over the construction paper or paper & screw it on. Place on a window seal or coffee or kitchen table. Or counter top, or even a bathroom sink etc. Where ever you want it! Now look at it,, isn’t it pretty. <3 I hope you enjoyed this DIY Flower Jars For Springtime. You can add what you like or even create your own Jar, its all up to you ;) Enjoy!
My Vichy Samples have arrived!
I received my free Vichy Samples from Crowdtap on Friday, September 5, 2014. So excited to try this and see how wonderful my skin looks after eight days. I guess I am hoping for a miracle to help my wrinkles and all the other stuff that happens when you turn 54.
