Walking up to Aurora’s front door with three wild flowers at hand that he’d picked on the way over, Lennon bit down on his bottom lip as a grin threatened his features. It was the girl’s birthday --- and that was all he could rightfully think about throughout the entire school day. Having kept her present in his locker and putting it in his backpack so he could come straight over to her house, he gripped onto its straps excitedly, the thought of the look on her face when she opened it having him allowing his grin to finally escape across his face. Approaching her door, the lanky teen reached over and pushed their doorbell before taking a step back. He lifted the hand holding the flowers up and extended it out toward the door as the corners of his mouth curved into a soft smile; he only Aurora was the one who’d answer.
