Bulan pertama 2018, blantika musik Jawa Timur sudah dihadiahi satu single baru dari Longest berjudul “First”. Tanggal rilisnya pun cukup unik yaitu 18-1-18. Longest adalah Oscar, Hajar, Danis, Yogi, Adit, band yang beranggotakan 5 pemuda Surabaya ini mengaku mencoba mengemulasikan gaya sound Alternatif/Emo era 1990 seperti Fugazi, Nirvana ataupun ekivalen yang non populer yaitu Amp 176, Boilermaker, Leiah, M.I.J, dan revival sound seperti Diamond Youth, sampai Basement. 

Lagu “First”  bercerita tentang pertemuan muda-mudi di suatu gigs, hingga berlanjut ke hubungan yang lebih dekat.  Liriknya terinspirasi dari gaya keseharian muda - mudi kelas menengah berpacaran, seperti makan di warmindo dengan ditemani semangkuk mi instan seperti penggalan liriknya “You showed me your simplicity, companying us eating noodles” Lagu “First”  ini diciptakan oleh Oscar, sang vokalis. Tak tanggung - tanggung direkam di 3 studio, Third Eye Studio, Natural Studio, dan Igos Studio. Single ini sendiri telah melewati proses mixing & mastering oleh tangan dingin Chitoz di Third Eye Studio.
