That one time when Skyscraper magazine published two of my live pix of Spiritualized in 2002 (though the venue info was published incorrectly; these were taken at John Peelâs Meltdown Festival in London).
From Wikipedia: âSkyscraper was an independent music magazine dedicated to coverage of a wide range of progressive and underground music. It was founded by Peter Bottomley and Andrew Bottomley in 1997 and published its first issue in 1998. Its headquarters was in Boulder, Colorado. The magazine covers various genres of music and is often likened to an American version of Mojo. Its format includes in-depth interviews, music reviews, and articles covering books, film, comics, and social and political issues. The quarterly print edition of Skyscraper discontinued after the Spring 2009 issue. The founders started an online magazine in 2010.â

When I was living in London in the 90âs, I hoarded music magazines. And I couldnât bear to throw them all out when I moved back to the states, so I painstakingly cut the articles that seemed important or meaningful to me at the time, and put them in binders. đ Yes, I am a gigantic DORK. So here I am, over 20 years later - still moving these binders around from house to house. I am way less attached to them now, but I thought Iâd post some here for kicks. Hereâs young Thom in Q Magazine in the October 1997 issue. https://www.instagram.com/p/CIweLNHF1Sg/?igshid=jsfrnuzvt7m
