Atticus tried to see if he could look through the lens. It was dirty and cracked. He wondered if he’d be able to fix it. Sure he was good with tools and his hands, but he’d never been much of a photographer. He didn’t know how this thing was supposed to work, but maybe he could figure it out.

“Well, I suppose discretion could be an advantage in this instance. Fortunately for us, bobby pins are multi-function.”

Trix reached up to her hair and extracted one of those pins, then outstretched her arm. She didn’t think she’d gotten that close to those fanatics’ territory-and she might not have. But it was equally possible she’d made an enemy of the Legion (speaking of her habit of solving problems with dynamite), so when she’d noted the scouting party, she’d ducked into the nearest structure.
