On Mondays we are sharing graphics standards manuals on our Instagram page! But today’s manual is from the Vignelli archives so we’re sharing it here too!
Before there was New York Fashion Week, there was 7th on Sixth run by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, which was held in a series of white tents in Bryant Park. But for one Fall season it was moved to the Chelsea Piers. Fall 1997. It wasn’t very popular and returned to Bryant Park for the Fall 1998 season.
Here are some excerpts from the manual for the graphics program created by Vignelli Associates for that one rogue fashion week in Chelsea in the Fall of 1997.
