rewatching s6 of spn and i really admire how jared played soulless sam. the first time i watched the scene where the brothers reunite in 6x1, and knew sam was out of the cage, but we didn't yet know his soul was missing, i felt like something was definitely off with him but i didn't know if that was intentional or if i was just imagining it/making something out of nothing. now rewatching, jp did really well with it. u can really see how sam is obviously pretending to be his normal self and doing a skillful enough job, but he's a little too casual, a little too emotionless, idk just something i thought was cool.
