On the old Classic and Vintage BMW page, we used to do something called 'Marketing Mondays' where we would promote the sale of one of our follower's cars. Since C&V BMW doesn't have a whole hell of a lot of followers these days, we'll be using Marketing Mondays to show how BMW used to market their cars.
Here's an ad from Great Britain (circa 1977-78) promoting their E24 633CSi powered by a 3.2 liter, six-cylinder, Bosch L-Jetronic fuel-injected M30 engine with 197 hp (147 kW) @ 5,500 rpm - 290 Nm / 214 ft.lb of torque @ 4,250 rpm - 0 to 60 mph in 7.6 seconds - 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds with a top speed of 134 mph (216 km/h) - 24,214 units were produced between September of 1976 and 1984.
