"5Pointz", Queens, New York City... "5Pointz" was a graffiti mecca in Long Island City, Queens, New York City. The legendary site was once a 200,000-square-foot factory building covered in spray-painted murals by artists from around the world. It was considered a vibrant cultural landmark that celebrated the history of graffiti art. Finally, in November 2013, the building's owner whitewashed the walls without warning, and the building was demolished in 2014 to make way for a new residential complex.
