𝙎𝙊𝙇𝘼𝙍 𝙀𝘾𝙇𝙄𝙋𝙎𝙀 — 21 Jun 2020 — Second post for today! I had come upstairs to shoot the eclipse a little before noon, and normally I'd have posted these photos shot with camera (Canon 200D, 55-250mm lens) first, but I happened to get a couple of interesting phone pictures so I posted those earlier. Now, here are the camera ones. Since the shadow on the Sun makes it crescent shaped, it actually looks like the moon! There were clouds today, which actually helped because it cut the light of the Sun and avoided the pictures getting overexposed. Had the sky been clear, I don't think I'd have got these shots, I'd have needed an ND filter (which I don't have). Settings for both the Sun photos were ISO 100, f22, 1/4000, at 250mm. 𝙇𝙐𝙉𝘼𝙍 𝙀𝘾𝙇𝙄𝙋𝙎𝙀 | 6 June 2020 — I was seeing a few people posting pictures of the moon tonight and looked it up — apparently there was a lunar eclipse that was supposed to happen! I looked up the time, the peak was to be at 00:54 AM. So I went up to the terrace a few minutes before, and took pictures. The moon was very bright and there were no clouds, so this was a very straightforward shot to take — I put the camera at 250mm, ISO 100, f11 and 1/200. You can only see a very subtle shadow at the bottom of the moon — that is actually the eclipse effect. This was shot at that peak time.
