The Top Shorter on the sides, longer on the top right? If you've said that to the person who's cut your hair before, chances are you've all but said that your entire life. The "Gentlemen's cut" is pretty much just that with a few bells and whistles. So what can you do, when classic men's styles have reigned supreme for the last 80ish years? Find a new focal point and expand from there. @famos took a simple concept of a fade around the ear to create one of the most proliferate and duplicated styles of 2015 with his #4amfade. Taking a simple concept and deconstructing it to build something new can create amazing new results. It's how this industry grows and changes and how trends become trends. I was on periscope recently watching some haircuts and it seems like 2016 is going to be the year for real texture. Movement & mess. Controlled chaos. For Wyatt's style I created a zero taper around the back and at his sideburns/temple and kept it a little shorter than a half inch all the way round only connecting it with the top from mastoid to mastoid around the back to push weight forward. Then cross diagonal forward sections created a triangular shape on the top like a that lead to lots of layering and movement. Deep multidirectional pencil cuts with the point of a straight razor gave the internal layers that key beveled edge to push hair all over the place. This was taken just after blow drying and a some @love_kevin_murphy Night Rider applied to piece it apart. Take a little thing you like and blow that concept up and try something new with your hair. On the right was around April 2015 Left is December 2015 The thing about the right picture was that day I felt so beautiful and happy with my figure. I had been working out and going to the gym for about 3 months. I work out irregularly sometimes 3x a week or once every 2 weeks. I changed my diet in June to a strict Vegan diet and exercised less because I worked 65 hours a week. Recently, (2 months ago) I started including fish and vegan protein powder to my diet. 1 month ago I started going to a cross fit gym and intense weekly cardio. I literally feel disgusting when I look at myself because I don't weigh 128lbs, I weigh 150lbs; the same as I did in April. To realize my weight hasn't changed but my body has is amazing. This is just the first throwback to many to keep me going, to keep you going. Find your strength even if it takes a few months and you don't notice it, just keep going baby. (:
