What do you mean “fake insects”?

I can see Aizawa being the type of guy to muster up a bit of energy and go all out- but with actual bugs. Whether he’s dedicated enough to catch his own or honestly wastes some money on buying a bunch of them (In garden stores around here, you can actually buy certain types of bugs, how creepy is that no thank you :^) ) 

He sets up his phone so it’ll record the entire thing, feigning innocence and demanding to use the bathroom while Hizashi changes out of his hero costume- who wants to lounge around their own home in tight leather? Well, okay, he might- but not this time. And let me tell you, Aizawa is T H O R O U G H with his practical jokes. 

A few on the top of his dresser, which, of course brings forth a scream, but one or two bugs just wasn’t enough for the reaction Aizawa wants. Hizashi will suck it up and make Aizawa get rid of the bugs on top, but needs his clothes within- and that’s when the screams really start to get hysterical

In his drawers, the pockets of his coats in the closet, in his shoes! Everywhere! Once he starts to feel like he’s going to have a heart attack, he’ll sit on his bed but… the blankets move underneath him. Under the blankets- yes, Aizawa goes there, like the asshole that he is. The horrifying, blood curdling screams that comes from Hizashi’s throat almost make Aizawa fall to the floor of the bathroom laughing. 

for a while ive been trying to figure out how i feel over rpf content. while in general i think its... very situational on if i think its okay or not? i wanted to hear back from some other people on why they like it and how they view it.

Not a weird question at all, love! 

See, that’s a very valid fear. Unfortunately, as a writer (in a larger fandom), it could take a while to get noticed, but don’t worry! There will always be someone waiting to read your work! I’m constantly afraid that people either don’t enjoy my work or it just gets overlooked, but I’ve been told time and time again that there is at least one person who sits and waits to read and enjoy any piece of your work- so I hope you keep that in mind as well!

Honestly, I made my first writing blog around two years ago and I was absolutely terrified? I, luckily, had a friend start it out with me so I wasn’t really alone- but now, I run both blogs on my own, and let me share my findings with you:

Shout outs are your best friend.

Really, they are! I didn’t ask for any with this blog because I’m very shy and afraid of bothering someone for one. For my other blog, however, my friend asked for several shout outs (from very kind people!) and that honestly made the difference between my 5,700+ followers on one blog, and 800+ followers on this one. (Hi all of you, love you♥). (As a side note, I didn’t give numbers to brag in any way, but to show you the vast difference it can make to ask for some help!) So if you’re able to, ask for some shout outs! Most people are pretty willing and would be happy to! Not only that, but those people tend to check out your blog as well! (If you’re shy like me, maybe ask a friend to do it for you! It’s not like you need to send 48 of them, just as many as you’re comfortable with!)

Friends!

Your irl friends, tumblr friends you’ve made previously- friends! Ask them to reblog some stuff of yours to share with their followers, ask them to look over your stuff, whatever! They’re your friends, they’re willing to help! 

Also under “Friends!”, try making some within the fandom! Writers a d o r e supporting other writers, because we understand! We know how it feels to be up to your elbows in things you’d like to write but have no motivation for. We understand the struggles of hardly any notes- we certainly understand the struggles of hardly any reblogs! So if you’re able to, try making some writer friends and interacting with them (My inbox and messages are always open, if you’d like♥) But I know how hard it may be to make the friends, I mean, I haven’t really taken my own advice here…. but trust me, it can really help!

Tag tag and, oh look, more tags.

Tags get you out there! Lots of people follow certain tags or search them up every now and again- tagging your things (even if it ends up as a wall of tags some times), is very beneficial! Tag whatever you think people may look up! Especially with this fandom, don’t forget to tag different spellings of names as well (Ex. “Bakugo” and “Bakugou”, both can be tagged seeing as both spellings are accepted!)

THINGS TO REMEMBER: 

-If you get a lower amount of notes than you were expecting, don’t sweat it! It’s possible there are several people who enjoy your works, but are afraid to like (or reblog) them! I’ve had people tell me before that they’re afraid of spamming people’s activity notifications so they tend to hang back when dealing the love! That doesn’t mean your work isn’t appreciated! Sure, likes and reblogs are very, very nice- but sometimes it happens! Don’t let it get you down.

-Keep in mind that longer pieces of work get looked over at first glance- but don’t let that discourage you! Most people have to make time to read longer pieces of work, so just hang in there! It’ll certainly get noticed if you give it some time! If you just want to write simple headcanons or short scenarios? Do it! People enjoy short, quick pieces they can read between classes or while cooking, or anything, really!

-Write what you want to write. Trust me, it’ll produce great work and that’s what people will notice! Take time between requests (if you plan on taking them!) and work on things you’ve been wanting to write. You’ve got 48 requests? But want to write a fic about some domestic fluff? Do it! People will appreciate it! As for requests- take your time and be creative! You’re allowed to morph it to what you want (while still keeping the request in mind)! 

Sorry this was so long kajsdhf but my most important piece of advice is to just have fun! Sure, it’s very worrisome to work so hard on something and get no recognition… but think about why you’re writing in the first place! Isn’t it to have fun? To be creative? To get your feelings out? Whatever your reasoning is for writing, remember that it makes /you/ happy. If it makes you happy, then it’s sure to make others happy as well.

55: tumblr friends

Ah! Well, I don’t have many on the bnha side,,, my friends I’ve got from my main blog/Mysme fandom (i.e. the ones I mention often, like Shelby, Elly, Yuu, and Dreama) are the only tumblr friends i’ve really got ^^;; but ive got my arms and heart wide open for more if anyone wants to talk!!

it hasnt been for over a year now. life has just become a lot for us. ive been demotivated to work on edits, and then i got involved with other things. working while disabled on top of being a system and struggling severely with memory and time loss, i havent had the chance to dedicate time to working on this blog.
