After getting home quite late the Thursday (Day 90) from my great time in Spain, I slept as long as possible on Friday and then started packing for my trip to Bruxelles.
I didn’t need much since it was only for the weekendand I was kind of used to packing only necessary stuff by now, so it was really easy.
Sarah picked me up at half past 12 and we went for the other two girls who joined us before we hit the road to get to Bruxelles. Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic so we got stuck a couple of times on the road.
It didn’t take long until we crossed the border to the Netherlands. I wanted to take a picture but was too late. So there I was in the Netherlands when all my dutch friends were still in Spain haha. What a shame!
Well, didn’t stay in the Netherlands anyway because we were heading for Belgium.
Traffic in Bruxelles was crazy and we were glad when we finally arrived at the flat.
The best part was when I noticed that the owners of the flat, who talked in English with us, not french like most people in Belgium speak, were actually talking in Spanish with each other!
Crazy, huh? There I was, just returned from Spain one Day ago, where I had learned so much of that awesome language, talking to people in English, the language that I love so much and prefer quite often over German to be honest, in a city where people usually speak french, the language that I missed quite a lot since I left Paris!Â
In 2 Days in 4 Countries (Thursday-Friday: Spain, Germany, Holland, Belgium)!
Spanish, English, French & German in one Day!!!
