Take 1 on Troll Claire (Half-Troll)

I am a huge fan of au where Jim resets the timeline Toby becomes the trollhunter, Claire dies so Toby resets the timeline and Claire gets the amulet so that is where I am going with this, half troll Trollhunter Claire

1. Okay bc she is transformed I think she'll look more like Not-Enrique in this au, fluffy collar of fur and all but her skin is more bluish-purple

2. Darcy and Mary are obliviously very involved in this au and I think they would be the first people in her support system to tell her how badass she looks. Jim tells her that he thinks shes beautiful and that he might be even more head over heals for her (he has his mother's taste)

3. Ophila and Claire get into an argument about her transformation, Ophila thinks it was short sighted (Sure you've won the battle but your future is in flames! How will you go to college as a troll) and it ruins their relationship for years, they don't talk for a couple of months and Jim leaves with Claire for New Jersey

4. Claire takes down Gunmar faster than Jim does. She was able to be quicker than him and I hc that she used to fence

5. Claire misses the sun alot and Jim will sit next to her on those days and comfort her. He loves to make her favorite troll meals and they spend a lot of time together and Jim will never shut up about how pretty she is.

Take 2 on Troll Claire (Changeling)

Claire is actually a changeling for this au, this is a Barbara is the trollhunter and a human shadow-mancer Strickler au (or essentially kind of a Stricklake and Jlaire roleswap) this one will focus on Claire but I can elaborate on this au

1. Claire is a young but quickly moving member of the Janus Order (also she is a birthstone changeling like in my fic so she can be around Jim's age and maturity). She has been nothing short of impressive in her movement up the ranks. Nomura has taken Claire under her wing too

2. Claire originally asks Jim to join the play when she suspects he has the amulet to keep a close eye on him. It one night when Barbara is driving them both home that she realizes its Jims mom

3. Claire starts dating Jim to try to get closer to the amulet and they fight while Jim is making them dinner. Jim ends up being very disappointed that his mom is being a Boy-Mom and he appoliges to Claire about it

4. Darci and Mary do not know Claire is a changeling so thats a fun surprise for later

5. Otto is the one to summon Angor Rot and he convinces(read: manipulates) Claire to use the binding spell on Jim. Jim has a very similar reaction to what his mom did when she found out Strickler used it on her

Warlock Toby (DnD campaign au)

This human au is basically just Toby, Claire, Jim, Jim's 'Uncle Blink', his husband 'Uncle ARRRGH' play dnd together and its run by Douxie (Jims older brother? Maybe?). This is because I read warlock and couldn't get my friends new dnd character out of my head I'm not sorry

1. Toby wanted to make a warlock bc he thought it would be fun and he didn't understand the difference between Wizards, Warlocks, and Sorcerer (in his defense I don't either I will stick to my Rangers, Rouges, Fighters, Clerics, and Paladins, thank you very much) anyway Toby wanted to cast fireball with a hammer and who are we to stop him?

2. Toby seems like the guy who would plan half his stats and just go chaos with the others. His stats are all over the place which leads to a very chaotic mix of spells and what he can do on any given turn

3. If Toby fails a spell Uncle ARRRGH's orc-dragonborn barbarian (now thats something I can play) is nearby to help out if Jim's Paladin isn't already there (Haha I have a dnd character based on Jim actually)

4. Claire who does understand the difference has a wizard and helps Toby out whenever she can in the game

5. At exactly level 11 Toby decides to muticlass as a Bard. I will not elaborate because I have no explanation it just feels right

Akaradion Jim au

Okay so Barbara is the current Queen of Akaradion 5 and James is still around in this au (well at first) Jim was raised in a good home. He love his parents and he has a very happy first few years of life. It was somewhat unusual that only one survived out of his litter which was deeply upsetting to her and James.

1. James Sr dies (core is not intact) during the battle. Barbara is weakened but alive (fully) she sends her top generals to other planets to hide out and distract Merando while she raises her son in secret. Jim is 5 when this attack happens he still grows up in Arcadia with Toby who is none the wiser his best friend is an alien

2. Jim has his entire life basically on mother's timer and Toby has always known about Jims strict be home by time. He kinda just assumes its based on whatever Jim and his mom went through before they moved to America (Hes technically not wrong)

3. Jim does not get the amulet in this au instead it goes to one of his other friends Aja. Aja and Krell are actually an imagrant family and living with their Uncle and second cousin because they were also able to escape to America. Aja, Krell and Jim bond over a lot of trauma that they both share

4. Barbara teaches Jim Akaradion culture and stories in secret bits of it slip into the games he plays with Toby but he's very careful around other people about what hes saying even at an early age
