Currently Reading: Different Seasons by Stephen King, which is a collection of novellas. Currently on “The Body” also known as the book Stand By Me is based on.

In other news, I did go ahead and buy the chair - thank you for the encouragement to do so!  But, of course, because if you give a mouse a cookie... I now am also going to purchase a second pack and play because we’ll need a diaper changing station upstairs.  We’ll eventually need a second pack and play anyway so we’ll just bite the bullet and get one now since it’ll be helpful in the near-term.  

Also, if you recall my stroller dilemma (first deciding on a deluxe double jogging stroller then having to scrap that and look at in-line double strollers upon witnessing the tiny sidewalks of Philadelphia) I now think I’m going to go ahead and get the double jogging stroller I originally decided on (BOB 3.0 Duallie) which will serve me very well for the 11 months I still have in Virginia and then will sell that and get an in-line stroller once we move to Philly next June.  This way, I’ll have a functional stroller I know I’ll love to help get me back into weight loss and activity.  I feel good and am excited about this option!  Thank you sleepless nights for helping me come up with this plan!

Nursery update!

For Christmas, my parents got us this really thoughtful framed print of constellations just as they were if you had looked up at the night sky from the location where we got married, on the date we got married. HOW CUTE IS THAT.
