The only real solution I can imagine to what is happening at Halo Studios is if the team decided to unionize. The corruption and shitty leadership culture that created this mess seems to be so ingrained at Microsoft, that the only meaningful way forward is to get the developers to have a proper say in their workplace. It should be stated that unionizing wouldn't suddenly make these problems go away, but it would give them a path to do so. Id Software just unionized this past year, it isn't impossible for a Microsoft studio to unionize. There is a chance.

It's interesting that halo conservatives call people who like things that aren't the holy pentagon of halo (CE,2,3,ODST and Reach) shills, because their views are so strong that they cannot imagine someone freely disagreeing with them so they choose to believe that people who do disagre with them really agree with them but are payed to say otherwise
