Ok so yesterday I said I was starting a diet/detox/cleanse thingy today and that I would post what I’m eating. So here goes.
Sum up first (incase people don’t wanna read):
*no gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, alcohol, vinegar, or processed foods for 30 days
•Meal (1/2 veg, 1/4 meat- preferably organic and free range, 1/4 carbs and some healthy fats- this can be nuts on the salad or a drizzle of olive oil, or cooking in olive or coconuts oil, or it can be avocado)
•Arbonne Digestion Aids- “Digestion Plus”, “Fibre Support”, (later “Body Cleanse”)
So today started with my vitamins, and a protein shake; 2 scoops of Arbonne chocolate meal replacement powder (gluten, dairy, wheat, and soy free), 1 scoop Arbonne fibre support, 1 sachet digestion boost, water. (Forgot to take a picture as I was heading out the door to class)
Then I had lunch, I got a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket and had a 1/4 of a plate of chicken, 1/2 plate of veggies- lettuce and fresh beetroot, 1/4 plate of quinoa mixed with fried mushrooms, onions, red and green peppers, and garlic. The bright yellow drink that looks kinda like Mountain Dew is called a fizz stick, it’s an Arbonne product that gives you a caffeine boost that’s healthier than coffee or cola.
I’ve also had 2 cups of detox tea, it’s another Arbonne product (sweat I’m not sponsored just doing their 30 day detox thing) it’s basically a herbal tea with natural diaretics and anti inflammatories and stuff like liquorice, mint, ginger etc. It tastes so good!
And for dinner I had this cement looking thing that actually tasted really good! 2 scoops Arbonne chocolate meal replacement powder, 200ml unsweetened almond milk, 6 almonds, 2 handfuls of spinach, 10 frozen blueberries, and topped up with water.
Not gonna lie, this felt like a lot of food; especially with lunch I had to force myself to eat it all (I know I don’t have to eat it all but I’m very aware that I get hungry at about 11:30pm randomly before bed and this was my only solid meal so I decided eating it all would be better in the long run, plus it’s not like it’s a massive amount of calories coming from a mountain of lettuce.)
I’ll check in tomorrow to say how I felt tonight and how I feel tomorrow. My meals tomorrow are gonna be about the same so I probably won’t post pics again.
