Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) is soothing to skin with many beneficial properties that we expect, but this is not like the Witch Hazel found in the local grocery or drugstore. It is a wildcrafted (organic) distillation of witch hazel straight from the plant. By itself, it is a great toner for teenage skin with pimples, as well as wonderful for skin at all ages and in general. It is a very effective anti-oxidant and an effective anti-aging skin fighter. Its antiseptic properties soothe and help relieve itchy scalps. This witch hazel hydrosol is delicately fragrant with a little raspiness associated with witch hazel.

Applying witch hazel directly to skin as a compress works to tighten pores and reduce bagginess. It is also an effective anti-irritant when used after shaving.

Finally, this hydrosol is useful for pet care. Simply spray on the effected areas.
