anger gnaws at your heart, scorching your veins hot, hot, and hotter. it's not often that you're angry, nor do you allow it to consume you like you do in this very moment. but as you look upon your motorcycle, battered and dented to the point of near being totaled, you cannot help the rage that boils inside you. the beast nestled within you relishes in your emotions, lapping up your agitation as if it were a fine meal. your back muscles tense with how you roll your shoulders.

Remy huffs out something like a laugh, grinning with all teeth and a rough drawl, "Who gives a fuck?"

Very deliberately, before Snake can answer, Remy's moving to press his palms against Snake's chest and shoving him back against the wall—hard. His hands are fast and unrelenting, like he's decided not to let Snake go until he decides otherwise. There's no one around anymore, but it's clear Remy couldn't give a shit either way.

Annelise's glass pauses halfway to her lips, green eyes flicking up to meet Snake's behind the bar. She laughs once, a kind sound, and a spark of something playful shines in her gaze. Her head tilts as she sets the glass down, studying him like she's weighing whether or not to deliver the punchline. If there was ever a time, it'd be now, when it's too early in the morning for most patrons to keep powering through and they're nearly alone in the dim-lit bar.

"No?" she asks, the word soft against her tongue. She's not being condescending, not really—she's just got a decent grip on her control tonight and she's feeling particularly cheeky. It's not like her to be so brazen about her undeath, but she's several drinks in, and at some point during the night, she'd decided Snake isn't a threat. He seems like the kind of person who does well with weird, too, and that only emboldens her.

So she's playful—just for tonight. Her smile widens, displaying the tips of four slender, pointed canines. The tip of her tongue runs over the edge of one of them very deliberately before her mouth snaps closed and her smile returns. It's just the beginning of the things she could show him, but she doesn't offer any more than that.
