Mel's siblings
Gaslight District but Mel has six other siblings. Either she's the middle child, the Eldest, or the Youngest. I like the idea of the former.
Three of them work with the virtues while the others have hidden themselves in the District. They used to get along great together.
Everything changes when both sibling groups find out about Mel's existence.
Imagine that Mina had to feed on Celeste and it turns out that Vampires will bump up each other's rank based on what they manage to feed on. Humans are common enough to not affect ones rank and feeding on vermin like rats and mice will actually knock you down a few pegs on the vampiric totem pole. But if one manages to feed upon a rare prey, say a unicorn, then there is no choice but to acknowledge that by treating that one with more courtesy.
Honestly, I don't know how much of a social boost drinking from a unicorn will give a vampire and I'm not really sure where to take this idea. Regardless, I will share this idea with y'all and see what your thoughts are.
I love it when a setting has a mysterious ancient civilization that isn't around nor elaborated on because that gives me the excuse to try (and mostly fail) at imagining what it was like...
Or what it's still like in an alternate universe where they never really went away. How it could interact with the modern world and vice versa. How things could change...
Yeah, it's fun for me.
The Corplangs
Gonna make cryptolangs for the Wings of The City because, as much as I would love to make fully original conlangs for each of them, I feel that it is A: More feasible to make really fancy cyphers/language games with built-in grammatical features than actual fully fledged languages and B: It makes as much sense for the Wings to make such cryptolangs as a means of protecting corporate secrets as well as adding to their brand while simultaneously cutting corners by not paying the language creators enough to warrant making entire lexicons for such languages.
That said, these "Corplangs" will be based on "The Head Language" which will be, for all intents and purposes, English. Yes, I'm a Native English Speaker. Yes, I'm not fluent in any other languages but willing to learn new words here and there when it suits me. It's just that English is the language I am most familiar with and that is the one I will be using to encrypt into the Corplangs.

Astartes-themed Conlangs, anyone?
Union of United States of America's Micronations
I like Guilty Gear. So, there is this game called Guilty Gear that is a fighting game and, like all fighting games, has batshit lore. Basically, Y2K happens and humanity as a whole, with the exception of India, abandons technology for magic. Then magical bio-weapons, known as the titular "Gears," start popping up and there was a war and this summary is grossly oversimplified. What matters is that the world is way different in GG than it is IRL and I love it.
I love it so much that I came up with a faction in this setting known as UUAMN pronounced "wham" Union of United States of America's Micronations. The motivations of their formation is, after Y2K and the Gear War, UUAMN formed, recognizing the United States incompetence to protect the common man. These micronations then erected tall stone pillars with their declaration of independence carved into them and their leaders canonically have super powers and can one-shot most armies.
And that's about it. I just wanted to share fan lore.

As a guy who loves video games with large casts of playable characters, I'm surprised I forgot about Skylanders despite being obsessed enough at the time to collect books about it.
