Yes, DOAC was the most open & candid conversation style interview we’ve ever gotten from Louis, but the entire thing was prepped & planned beforehand.

He & his team knew the questions going in there & prepped his responses.

I am not discounting all the grief he displayed or has been through, this is mostly for those people who can’t comprehend the answers about the band & breakup. He knew that Steven would ask about it, and he & his team had prepared the answers he would give for whatever reason or narrative they wanted.

Yeah, I agree. No one is going to go into an interview like this winging it. This was his opportunity to set the tone and narrative for this era. They would have given Steven the points they wanted to hit, and he’d develop his questions. Preparing doesn’t equal fake.

As for the clip in that TikTok, that made me laugh. It reminds me of this old interview with Will Smith where he’s talking about how he’d been so stressed on his first acting role on Fresh Prince of Bel Air that in the first few episodes he would to mouth the other characters’ dialogue as they delivered their lines.

It’s totally normal to write your own bio when you’re being presented. I’m sure Louis/his team gave Steven all that info.
