Corbyn wanted to hate you. Oh, he really did. But he didn’t. Damn it all, he didn’t. Which was why instead of actually jousting, he was letting knight after knight pummel him with lances.
It was after all what you basically told him to do. If he wanted to prove his love for you, he would lose the jousting tournament.
Admittedly, you thought he would prove his unlove for you and continue to win the tournament. But seeing his team yell at him to move or at least forfeit while he just waited for the next knight caused a surprising amount of happiness.
Love. Corbyn loved you. And he was willing to risk his name and reputation to prove it. The thrill and excitement of it all distracted you so, that you almost forgot the man who loved you was being hit with large wooden sticks.
You gathered yourself and informed your lady’s maid to tell his men that he should stop losing. If Corbyn loved you, he would win after all. You watched your lady deliver the message. Although he was wearing a helmet, you saw Corbyn turn his head in your direction and felt his icy glare. He may have loved you, but at the moment, you were sure he did nothing but loath you.
And like that, he didn’t dare lose another match. He knocked men off their horses, shattered lance after lance, he even took someone’s helmet off during the joust. And he did it. Despite the heavy loss in the beginning he was able to regain the lead and won the title.
Jitters of anticipation danced through your body as you walked into banquet that evening. You wanted to relish the evening with your beloved. Only, you couldn’t find him. You looked all around and did not see him. You eagerly watched the entrance hoping he would come in. He did not.
Now you were worried. Was he that angry with you that he didn’t want to see you? Perhaps you could seek forgiveness.
You waited an hour after the banquet. Dressed in your night gown, you crept to the field where the knights’ sleeping quarters were for the tournament. You remembered which one your maid said was his. Light was still glowing from inside. You pushed open one of the cloth curtains and saw him lying with his eyes closed.
“Sir Corbyn?” you whispered.
His eyes immediately opened and he looked to you.
You took a step in. “We missed you tonight at banquet.”
“We?”
You bent to your knees and crawled toward him. “Me. I. I missed you. Your prize.”
“Is that right?”
You sat next to him and looked at your hands. “So you are angry with me.”
He didn’t answer at first, which caused you to look up at him. He stared directly into your eyes. “Well, maybe only a little now. I was angrier. I’d like to be angrier. But with you here, I cannot be.”
A small smile appeared on your face. “I never imagined love could be this much happiness.”
His smile matched yours. “You’re right. It’s strange, but in a good way.”
Shyness washed over you again. “I’m also still in awe that I am the one you love.”
He quirked an eyebrow. “You are? Surely others must have loved you before I.”
“Never. To others I am only an object. A trophy to sit on their shelf. They don’t love me. They love only the boost to their egos and status I might provide.”
Corbyn slowly lifted his hand and let it caress your cheek. “You are never an object. To me you are the sun in which my entire world follows.”
You turned your cheek so your lips touched his palm, and you kissed it. “Corbyn?”
“Yes love?”
Hearing him say it sent trills of butterflies to your stomach. “My lady’s maid tells me that your men . . . they sometimes call you Cory.”
“Yes.”
Interesting, but it did seem quite similar to Corbyn. “Well, I don’t care what you’re called.” You moved to your hands and knees so you might kiss him. “As long as I can call you my own.” You rested a hand on his chest and suddenly he cried out in pain. You quickly pulled your hand back.
“Damn you, girl. The anger has not been completely forgotten.” He pushed his blanket back where you saw his bare torso, completely scratched and bruised from the day of taking lance after lance to prove his love.
“Oh no. This is my doing.”
“It most certainly is.”
“I should fetch a surgeon.”
“He’s already been. Said I’ll live.”
“This is why you were not at banquet.”
“Indeed.”
“I’m so sorry, Cory.”
He smiled at the use of his other name.
“What can I do to take away from the pain?”
A new kind of smile appeared on his face. No, not a smile. A smirk. A mischievous one. “I’m not sure you’re ready to hear the answer, princess.”
“No, tell me. How can I help you?”
He reached toward your cheek again, but brushed past it to hold a tendril of your hair. “To relieve the pain from your doing would most definitely be your undoing.”
A blush filled your cheeks. “My undoing?”
He nodded.
“Oh.”
“Of course I would never force you. It was too much to ask.” He groaned as he tried to sit up.
“No. It’s just,” you looked into his dark, chestnut eyes and whispered, “I’ve not been undone before, Sir Corbyn.”
His eyes grew wide and were soon filled with a hunger. “My prize you most certainly are, my love.” He gestured to his beaten body. “I’m afraid I cannot take the lead, though.”
You nodded. “Just tell me what to do.”
He held your gaze, as if looking into the depths of your soul. “You’re sure? This is what you want?”
“I want you, Cory.”
“I’m quite a lucky man.”
“Tell me what to do,” you repeated.
He nodded. “Take off your night gown and kneel in front of me.”
You did as asked.
Cory took a deep breath, his eyes scanning from your face, your neck, collarbone, they lingered at your breasts, then moved to your belly button, to between your legs where they lingered again, then back to your eyes. “You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve even seen.”
Red stained your cheeks again.
“That was a compliment, love. You don’t need to be embarrassed.”
You nodded.
“Lay beside me.”
Cory reached for your hand once you were next to him. He turned his head to look at you, and you did the same for him. “You aren’t ready for me yet. So we need to get you ready.”
“What do I do?”
He laced his fingers with the hand he was holding. “With your other hand, you’re going to touch yourself.”
“Touch myself?”
He nodded. “Between your legs. Put your hand on your stomach, and slowly move it down until your fingers are at your folds.”
You followed his instructions.
“Between the folds, there’s a little bud.”
You gasped when you touched what he described.
“That’s it. You’re going to touch it slowly. You can touch it anyway you’d like, up and down, side to side, in circles, whatever feels good to you, but it has to be slow.”
You tried every motion he suggested. First up and down. A moan of pleasure left your lips, which caused Cory to smile. You closed your eyes, the sensation felt so good, but he ordered you to look at him. You bit your lip as you tried rubbing the bud side to side, more sounds filling the room. Cory squeezed your hand to encourage you. You sucked in a deep breath when you tried to circle. Tingles of pleasure shot through your womanhood, to your thighs, you could even feel them in your toes.
You wanted to feel more and your fingers naturally started moving faster.
“Shhh, slow down, love. You want to go slow.”
You again obeyed and whimpered at the action.
Cory lifted your hand in his to his mouth and kissed it. “Trust me, princess. We’re making sure you’re ready. I know if feels good, but it’s going to get better. You need to go slow. Trust me.”
You took a deep breath and moved slowly like he asked. You allowed yourself to really feel all the pleasure the touch was creating within you. You couldn’t control any sounds you made, but they all seemed to make Cory happy.
“Alright, love, stop moving.”
You did.
“I need you to reach down.”
Shock filled your face and you gasped. “It’s wet.”
“How wet?”
You lifted his hand in yours and brought it to the spot. You involuntarily closed your eyes as he felt you, moaning when his finger slipped inside you.
“So wet for me, princess. You’re ready for me now. I need you to kneel for me again and pull down my blanket.”
You let go of his hand and rolled so you were on your hands and knees. You sat back into a kneel, and removed the blanket to see all of Cory. Your eyes grew wide and mouth parted. “Wow,” you breathed.
A smile filled his face. “I’m quite sure every man longs to hear that when being gazed upon.”
You couldn’t look away from him, his length.
“Are you scared?” he murmured.
Your head shook slowly, but you still stared at his manhood.
“Do you remember that wet feeling? That’s so this won’t hurt you. It will only feel good, I promise you princess.”
You nodded and looked into his eyes. “I’m ready.”
“Please be careful, since I’m still fragile, but you need your knees on either side of me. Bring that wetness right to my tip.”
You thought that maybe you should be blushing, but you didn’t. You felt powerful. Sexy. Cory was seeing all of you, making you feel things you’d never felt before, and you were going to make him feel those things, too.
When you were there, his voice hitched. “Touch me.”
Your fingers curled around his girth.
His eyes closed as he drew in a breath. He looked into yours. “I’m going to enter you where it’s wet. Position me there.”
It was your turn to gasp. You felt what he meant. Your opening. A shiver ran down your spine in expectation.
“Push down until you cannot, slowly.”
New songs of bliss sang from both you and Cory as you slid down his length all the way to the hilt.
It was as he said. He stretched you, but it didn’t hurt. It felt good. Better than good. And you went down on him so smoothly, like you were made just for him.
“Yes, love. Are you alright?”
You nodded vigorously.
“It doesn’t hurt?”
“No Cory. I feel nice.”
“Good girl. I need you to crawl forward to me so I may finally kiss you.”
You leaned forward, moaning when he slightly pulled out from the movement. You were careful not to touch his torso and hovered over him.
“That can’t be comfortable for you.”
“It’s not so bad.”
He grinned. “How is it, really?”
You gave a sheepish smile. “You’re right, it’s not very comfortable, but like you said, that’s my doing.”
“It is, but this won’t work if you feel awkward and strained like this. Try coming down to rest on your elbows.”
You carefully lowered yourself down, your body slightly resting against his. He grimaced for only a moment, but recovered. As you rested on your elbows, you were face to face with him.
“Are you alright?” you asked him.
“Being chest to chest with you is quickly becoming my favorite part of this evening.”
“Mine, too,” you mimicked his smile.
He brushed hair from you face, again telling you of your beauty, then rested his hands on your hips. “Please kiss me now.”
You were careful to lower your face down to his, delicately brushing your lips against his. His mouth parted, inviting you to move closer. His tongue licked the crease of your lips. When you pushed your tongue into his mouth, he pulled your hips up, the glided them back down his shaft.
You moaned into his mouth, deepening the kiss. He pulled your hips up again, then back down.
You broke the kiss to mutter his name.
“You’re well?”
“Yes, yes.” You pushed back against him, causing you both to moan.
He gripped your hips tighter as he pumped you along him. His lips reached up to your neck, leaving a trail of sloppy kisses along it.
Your pleasure seemed to be climbing, going up a peak, getting higher and higher each buck of your hips. You couldn’t control the sounds you were making, but Cory made them with you. You wanted to go faster, but you knew it would hurt Cory, so you allowed yourself to enjoy the ride.
Cory sensed you needed more. He let go of one hip. His hand slid between you so his shaft was between his middle and ring finger. This caused your bud to rub against his knuckles.
He quickly covered your mouth with his to help muffle the loud cry of rapture. You were almost there. Almost at that pinnacle you felt was coming.
Then Cory pulled your hip down harshly at the same time he bucked into you. Every fiber of your being felt the tingles from the explosion. You pulled from his mouth, exhaling a long cry.
“You’re doing so good, love. It’s my turn now, alright?”
You nodded and let him guide you, pulling you and pushing until his face scrunched up and then released as he’d reached his climax as well.
You were both panting and slick with sweat when you finally stopped moving. Cory helped you to carefully get off of him and go back to lying at his side. You cautiously snuggled against him, making sure you didn’t add to his pain.
You played with his hand. “Was my undoing worth the pain of my doing, Sir Corbyn?”
He chuckled and brushed your hair with his fingers. “It was better than anything I’ve ever felt before. The best even.” He kissed the top of your head. “How do you feel?”
“Wonderful. I never dreamed love would lift me to such heights. I had no idea I could feel this good.”
“Thank you for sharing it with me.”
You looked up at him. “You love me. I will share it all with you.”
