I have no trouble believing this. Tavros is useful; you want him to succeed. You’re just doing it wrong.

Maybe she actually is, but she’s engineered a situation where he needs to use his powers in a novel way, to save himself. 

You proceed through what seems to be your second gate, into the LAND OF MAPS AND TREASURE. The THIEF OF LIGHT lies in wait.

Thief is new. It’s an edgy-sounding class which fits Vriska perfectly. 

What does Vriska steal? She steal’s people’s willpower, their agency and the information out of their heads. I think the latter is what Light is getting at, because Rose’s Quest also has themes of manipulating information. 

Her Land might give us some more clues. Maps definitely evoke information, but Treasure is also worth considering - it’s a symbol of victory, something Vriska is obsessed with.
