I made it through the #21daytone challenge, and I'm placing these photos here for safekeeping and reference. I worked out consistently everyday for at least 20 minutes, doing a squat challenge, and some yoga on a few of the days. And there were a few days where I begrudgingly worked out or did squats before I slept. I know my body. I know it reacts to food. Exercise doesn't matter to it (or just doesn't play a large role). Even when I was at my lowest weight in 2017, all I changed was what I ate. So the biggest thing about the #21daytone challenge for me was no refined carbs, no sugars, and to drink 64+ ounces of water a day. The changes I made was if I were to eat carbs, they were whole grains. I didn't have sugar if I could stop it. I also controlled my portions. Things got ruled out that I normally eat (biggest lost was sushi). I cheated twice but only enough to satisfy, so nothing overboard (cinnamon rolls and lobster noodles. Yo.. how could I not eat those lobster noodles lol). You can see the meals on #valryskitchen. I also had a concern about how my digestive would react to salads because according to my accupuncturist, I should be staying away from cold foods. So I tried to balance it with warm things on top. So I was scared my acid reflux would start up again, something I've been dealing for the most part of sheltering in place along with just what feels like a smaller stomach, both of which has been a pain in the ass when I love to eat. My body now craves to workout. But granted from playing volleyball at least twice a week to nothing but online workouts, it probably a misses any sort of action. So where do I go from here. ππ»ββοΈ Continue working out at least 20 minutes a day. πΎ Continue to focus on whole grains for carbs. Less refined carbs still. π₯£ Keep focusing on my portions. π₯° Don't feel guilty about eating something that's not "good". Enjoy it. I'll check back again in two months. So March 31. No, this account isn't going to turn into those before and after infested accounts. You'll still see a bunch of food π And special shout-out to my awesome cousin @melissasayswoah for doing the challenges with me.
